C+ rating Cheesy & a lot of racism undertones
Revisado: 04-01-25
Maybe 2.5 or 3 out of 5 stars. I stuck with it, bc I didn’t want to waste money. While it had some mysteries parts, overall it was boring & very predictable, with a few twists. If it’s free, I’d give it a try bc it was an easy listen, I skipped chapters & still knew where i was

Very original storyline, lots of twists BUT the addiction part was giving Lifetime. However, the books plot line more than makes up for it. Just a few tiny minutes of book made me chuckle. It really is a good book! Long - lots of details - unexpected twists! Kept me guessing until the end!

4/5 stars overall The story was great - original but it drug on so long at times. This is not one I binged, took me about 2 weeks & I kept forgetting where I was. There were so many characters & they each had times it was from their viewpoint. Still recommend but you need to pay attention! Ending was shock!

C- rating on story but F bc it’s full price for a mini book
Revisado: 01-25-25
Story was a really really interesting one in the beginning, but even though it was only 2.5 hours long (which is such a rip off) but last hour were predictable, then last 5 min have A HUGE TWIST 😬😂 It’d be of a fun read if it were free & you were in mood for a lengthy podcast basically, but wouldn’t buy it!

Eight years later, Lark is finally getting her life back together for the sake of her young daughter and Mikki’s lovably prickly grandma, who can no longer care for herself. 1/5 star rating. It was TERRIBLE - so boring!
Revisado: 12-28-24
This was suggested to me as a mystery/thriller. I’m not sure what category I’d put it in, besides cheesy, very lifetime movie network, except nothing happens. The narrator was good. Thankful it was in the plus category so it was “free” but it really was THAT bad. 8 hours of nothing. The last 30-45 minutes did have a little action, but it was so painful to get there, I regret sticking with it.

A+ possibly best book I’ve listened to in a few years. Reminds me of the book/show, YOU, but no gore. This book will leave you saying holy shhhheeet. It’s got jump scares, cliff hangers, written perfectly & narration was easy to listen to but kept you on your toes.
