Historia
A fragile melody of love is played between these damaged souls, a song made sweeter and stronger by the day. But will their blossoming romance be destroyed by an outsider's greed or will it succumb to the discord of Graham's tormented heart? Can Graham find happiness with Anna, caught up in the fiery overtures and darkly gothic strains of Love's Melody Lost?

Expected More
Revisado: 03-28-19
I generally enjoy Radcliffe, but I felt this 5 hr story could have had more substance. It left me thinking “That’s it?” The narrator—as others have also pointed out—does a poor job. She reads so quickly and adds the wrong tone and emphasis in the wrong places. It’s not as bad if one slows down the speed. Very forced, disingenuous, lacking warmth and subtlety.

Historia
Was it an earthquake? A meteor? Or something else entirely? Running from a marriage proposal in Seattle, Dana Ingram returns to her parents' farm in Western Colorado for a two-week vacation in Paradox Valley. Only a couple of days into it, however, a small earthquake leaves them without power. Cars won't start, batteries don't work, and cell phones are useless.

Little Romance, Sci-Fi Topic, Poor Ending
Revisado: 08-20-18
I really like Gerri Hill's books and think I have all of the Audible versions. I should have paid more attention to the reviews before I purchase this one. Flirting and hand-holding - where is my lesbian action? (yes, I admit it, I like that sort of thing *blush*) A bit of gore, but nothing horrible in my opinion. Very sci-fi. Poor abrupt ending. Almost like Ms. Hill didn't know how to end it? On the other hand, I did listen to the entire thing -- had to see where it was going -- but it just didn't go anywhere.

Historia
Army National Guard Colonel Sawyer Kincaid has served her time dueling with death in the deserts of Africa. Now that she's home, the only sand she wants to see is on the beach in South Florida. Too bad Tropical Storm Leo, swiftly gaining strength out over the Atlantic, is about to draw her in to another life or death war, this time on home soil. Dr. Dara Sims has too many critical patients in the intensive care units at Miami Memorial to consider evacuation, no matter how determined the battle-hardened colonel is to make her. As far as Dara is concerned, evacuate is just another word for abandon. When a state of emergency becomes a state of siege waged by Leo, all she can do is hope the rising waters relent before she loses everyone, herself included.

Couldn't get past the first 10 minutes
Revisado: 07-31-18
I have a lot of Radclyffe books, and enjoy (almost) all of them. But, this narrator is so stilted that I had to stop listening. I will never purchase a book read by this narrator again. Can't comment on the story -- never got that far.

Historia
Jay "Flash" Reynolds has a brilliant future as a trauma surgeon until a truck on a rainy night changes her life. Assistant chief medical examiner Olivia Price is more at ease with the dead than the living - at least the dead never lie. All she needs to do is listen to their stories. What she doesn't need is a surly new resident who would rather be somewhere else. Two women, one with a damaged body, the other a damaged spirit, challenge each other to dare to live again.

I generally love Radclyffe. But I couldn't even finish this one. I could read better than this narrator. Story seemed to be very well done.

terrible narration
Revisado: 05-20-17
I have several Kim Baldwin books through Audible that I quite enjoy. The storyline for this book is not intriguing. Sorry, narrator, but the audio is terrible. inconsistent and irritating accents and tones.

Historia
Aging theater actor Torald Werness' last curtain call is as a corpse. Murdered after his last performance in his last theatrical production, Minneapolis restaurateur-sleuth Jane Lawless finds his body onstage, impaled on a part of the set. Before long, a series of coincidences places Jane in the role of prime suspect. Determined to clear her name, Jane turns to her best friend, Cordelia, for help. Together, their intuition leads them to the dead man's family, a glamorous - and appropriately melodramatic - Midwestern theatrical dynasty. Jane and Cordelia must separate the theatrics from reality before Jane takes the blame for someone else's crime.

Not the best narrator
Revisado: 02-24-15
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I enjoyed the book, although this is not my favourite Hart novel.
What didn’t you like about Aimee Jolson’s performance?
This is the first time I've heard this narrator and, unfortunately, I find her sub-par.
