For mystery lovers, Roman history lovers and lovers.
Revisado: 06-20-23
Marcus Didius Falco has it all. The series is a great romp. The love story between Falco and the Senators daughter is the winner. Every book has its own unique twist, and you can lose yourself in the streets of Rome, and all of the provinces he visits.

Historia
His name was Feliks. He came to London to commit a murder that would change history. A master manipulator, he had many weapons at his command, but against him were ranged the whole of the English police, a brilliant and powerful lord, and the young Winston Churchill himself. These odds would have stopped any man in the world - except the man from St. Petersburg.

A Typical Ken Follett Book
Revisado: 09-07-22
Plucked from the historical and sociological texts pre WW1, he uses characters to represent various elements of society and creates drama within recognizable historical events. Though it can seem formulaic, still an enjoyable read especially with the good narration on this audible version.

Heartwarming with Social Commentary
Revisado: 04-03-18
Bought this Audible book for some light entertainment. Didn’t expect it to have such good performances or social class commentary it has. Highly recommend. Not just romance.
