Great start to a series

This was my first Nadia Lee book, but, it definitely won’t be the last.
Baby for the Bosshole is the first book of a series about 7 brothers finding love.
I enjoyed following this couple’s journey to love. I also loved the way the hero was intentional in his pursuit of her when he finally got his shot. There weren’t any over the top expensive gifts, but, there was a focus on spending time together and getting to know each other. And there’s the reminder that you can’t judge a person’s life by looking in from the outside; we all have hangups or baggage that we deal with everyday, regardless of financial status.
I would have liked to hear Sebastian York read more, but, narration was still good. If you enjoy romance with accidental pregnancy, I recommend reading this book.

Funny, Hot, and Alpha-licious!

No one writes an Alpha man like Carly and Erika!
This was a great series featuring 4 good-natured Alpha men, who are friends and business partners. The first 3 (Wes, Max, and Kyle) will leave you smiling and satisfied. And just when you think you have reached the peak of Good-Guy-Alpha-Male mountain, you are introduced to Connor and his story. I looovvvveeeddd Connor, who looks good, smells, and just IS GOOD.
If you enjoy books with alpha males with strong, independent well matched heroines, you can’t go wrong with this compilation.

Wonderful

This was my first time reading a book written by Emily Henry, but, it certainly won’t be the last. I loved everything about this book - building the characters, serious and funny. The author’s message at the end was a very nice touch and Julia Whelan was the perfect choice as the narrator.
I’m looking forward to starting the next book.

Love love love

I loved this book. Lauren Blakely’s witty and fun style of writing has you loving this couple and anticipating the next chapter. I needed this entertaining novel. This was the first book I have read by Lauren Blakely, but, definitely not my last!

The narrators were awesome; a great pairing!!!

Now, I’m off to choose my next book...

Surprisingly Disappointed

I thought the storyline had promise at the beginning. The majority of the book is spent on providing the background of the main character and was much too detailed for its purpose. In fact, it was so detailed that I had to read the book details again to remind me of the storyline. Many characters really needed more development in order to understand their roles.

The ending left me with several questions that can be summed up with 1 word - “WHY?”.

Another great Alex Cross book

James Patterson did a great job weaving the threads of 2 mysteries into story lines that keep the reader engaged. He threw in a couple of surprises that make me wonder what adjustments the Cross family will make (willingly or not) as the series continues.

The narrators were great and I am thankful we were treated with two. It made it easy to follow along and they make it exciting to listen.

I think Alex Cross fans will enjoy this installment in the series. Although we are all probably jealous with how highly recruited Alex continues to be. 😃

Brilliant

I absolutely loved this book. There is no limit to Trevor Noah's talents. This book / his life / his perspective will make you laugh out loud, cry, root for him, and so much more. Most of all you will think about so many things - like why are we most comfortable when we can put things and people into categories? And what if they really don't belong in that assigned category?

I was skeptical about listening to a book narrated by the author, but, I honestly don't think anyone else could have done it justice. I felt as if I was on the journey with Trevor throughout the book.

Could not finish...

I am a Terry McMillan fan and was very excited to begin this book. Unfortunately, the narration was distractingly horrible. Initially, it was impossible to know which character was speaking. I restarted the book several times hoping for better results, but, it didn't happen. I still can't really tell you much about the book. I wish I had not purchased the audible version; maybe it would have been better. ☹️
