This book was super cute. I liked that the author had actual knowledge of the game of hockey and that there were actual game moments in the story. I loved the banter between Eva and Walker. I do think there was something missing though. It lacked depth and everything was pretty straightforward, and for a quick read like this one, that can be fine. I guess I was just expecting more of a conflict than what there was.

The narration on this one is what really sold me. Queen Sammy B killed it once again. She is my absolute favorite FVA. And Teddy Hamilton was absolutely stellar as always.

Omg I was not prepared for the emotional damage I was going to go through in this book. Okay I take that back, there is a very thorough warning at the beginning of the book, but I didn’t think I would be so affected! I cried so hard but I think I even laughed at the same time just because of how endearing Harlow’s character is. Her naïveté is adorable and amusing and it’s easy to see how she won over Waylon’s heart. They had me cracking up so much with their spice lessons. This one was a bit of a rollercoaster on the emotions but it was so so good.

Teddy and Ava did so incredible on this audio. They were the perfect casting for Harlow and Waylon.

This series just keeps getting better and better. I really loved books one and two but this has been my favorite of the series so far. And the spice?! It was like every chapter! 🥵🥵🥵 it was so good. But it wasn’t overwhelming. Like the spice had its place with the plot and there was a very good storyline. Dani and Aiden have scorching chemistry from the moment they met. They both agree to be friends with benefits, neither want anything serious. They both have their own hang ups about relationship. Until, inevitably, one of them catches feelings.

This narration…perfection. Alex Kydd…where have you been my whole life? I need more from him. And Vanessa played the perfect Dani. Honestly I loved this duet narration!

This was a sexy, spicy, dark Cinderella retelling but the step sisters are hot for each other. Just like in the Disney version, the dad dies but in this version he was a grade A a-hole who abused his wife, daughter, and stepdaughters so he deserved to die. Now stepmommy dearest is taking everything out on Birdie that her dad did, even though she didn’t do anything to deserve it, so she forces her to enter the auction to be sold to the highest bidder to be wed and for her virginity. The only problem is, she’s in love with her step sister, and her step sister is in love with her. They come up with a plan for freedom but do plans ever go to plan? The Sara Cate spice was absolutely spicing on this one. There was some FF, MF, FFM action and it was hot hot hot!

Stephen, Angelina, and Michelle did incredible on this narration! Dual narration, so they each did their own chapters, but I think they portrayed each character perfectly!

This is quite possibly the hottest book I’ve ever read. The spice and heat and chemistry started from page one between Savannah and her driver Sebastian. In comes her husband Adam and my god, it was freaking scorching. The tension and the angst was next level, I can’t even describe it. Giana’s writing is brilliant. The characters growth and the storytelling was seriously top tier. Being in a throuple is complicated enough in today’s society, but a throuple in the public eye as Adam is famous actor and Sebastian is a rising actor and screenwriter, and Savannah as both of their managers, things get…complicated. I don’t know how I’ll ever get over this ending.

This duet cast was absolutely stunning. Desiree did absolutely amazing with her range in accents. Shane as the sexy dom Adam, I have no words. So, so good! And so, so hot! 🥵🥵 and CJ was a new to me narrator and I instantly had to look up what else he narrated and why I hadn’t heard of him before because he was absolutely incredible. His Italian accent was so natural and I just can’t wait to hear more from him!

I am absolutely loving this series. I kind of wish all the audios were out right now so I can binge them all, but I have binged the first three in the last 24 hours and they are incredible. I love this small town and how the characters are so intricately woven together and how they have their own stories but there’s an overall story and linked past between them all too. Mark and Alicia’s story is so tragically beautiful and them overcoming their trauma is just as beautiful. Are some of the situations in the beginning a little far fetched and unrealistic? Probably, but they are comical and bring our couple together.

I LOVED this audio. Jason and Angelina are two of my absolute favorite narrators and I don’t think there could have been a better choice to voice Mark and Alicia. There was a continuity from book 2 to 3 with some accents which made it confusing who’s pov I was in at one point but once I figured it out and was back on track, all was good.

I don’t think Nikki Ash writes a bad book. I had such a good time catching up with the Fighting fam as they all came together for vacation at a ski resort in Colorado for Christmas. I love their banter, that hasn’t changed since their original books, but I loved that we got to see even more of it with their kids in the mix. It was a good look as to what lies ahead in the next generation coming up.

I really liked this duo for the narration. I’ve never heard either of these narrators before but I’m glad the producers didn’t go with any of the original narrators because I think I would have zeroed in on that voices and in my head only associated it with whoever they voiced in their full length book, so having a new narration couple helped separate that for me when there were so many voices coming together all at once.

If Brit Benson writes it, I’m going to read it. This book was so good and so angsty and I loved it so much. After what went down between Torren and Sav in book one, Between Never and Forever, I was expecting Torren to be super broody, kind of an a-hole, but finding out he’s been pining after a girl he met years ago while he was constantly high and had giant spaces in his memory because of the drugs and he’s actually super sweet, especially after running into her again by chance. When he proposes a PR/fake relationship with the girl he’s been pining for to drive away Sav’s stalker, neither expect to fall in love, and Calla Lily isn’t in a position to say no. The angst and the tension are so 🤌🏻. I loved seeing Sav and Levi again, as well as the rest of the band members. I’m hoping we’ll get the rest of their stories and maybe a spin off with Callie’s band? 🤞🏻

These two narrators were utter perfection. Stella could read a cereal box and I’d listen to her. She is the absolute best. And Stephen, god, his voice is so sultry and perfect for Torren.

This was such a good book. It was such a genuine enemies to lovers where the new main characters really hated each other, not secretly pining for each other and there was an actual turn in their feelings with the change in circumstance in their lives. I also really loved that both characters were fighters, not just a “belt bunny” or whatever MMA fighters’ groupies are called. It’s a lot lighter than I expected. I thought it was going to be more of a dark romance but it’s really not.

Brooke and Gideon did such an amazing job with the narration. Loved that this was duet style narration.

I have been looking forward to this book since the very beginning of the series. We get to our favorite 6 year old Beefcake throughout the series but to have his star in his own book? Gah this kid is hilarious. I was cracking up the whole time listening to this. The storyline was definitely kind of predictable for a single dad/small town doctor neighbors story but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

Teddy and Savannah did an amazing job with this one. Especially when there is a kid that’s a prevalent part of the storyline and having a good kid voice…these two did incredible!
