Still a fun ride with interesting characters! I’m still sad about the loss but glad it isn’t worse.
I love how he “broke it!” You’ll understand once you listen to this…

Montana's new life in Vuldranni, the medieval fantasy game world he lucked into, isn't quite the tranquil extended fishing trip he'd been hoping for. But you gotta admit, he's doing pretty well for himself. Now he's Montana Coggeshall, heir to a dukedom. If he can get his crew to Osterstadt and claim it in time.

Pleasantly surprised!
Revisado: 04-22-25
Didn’t have a lot of expectations coming in besides the high rating and few times I heard of the series in FB groups.
Been on my reading list for a bit and saw that it was free to listen to so gave it a shot. And I am very happy I did so.
The MC isn’t the most intelligent character. He is lacking but eager to learn and grow. He wasn’t a good guy on Earth but he wants to be in his new life. It’s interesting to see just how blessed my life has been compared to his!
The world building and progression system is interesting. I’m looking forward to seeing me!

Silas is inducted into the System, becoming the last in a long line of Earth's "forerunners." The rewards are great, but the danger is greater. We are not alone in the universe. The fate of five worlds hangs on how their forerunners perform. Will Silas have what it takes to win Earth a place in the multiverse? Or will Earth become another mining world stripped of all resources and left a barren husk floating in the cosmos?

Nice and Fresh!
Revisado: 02-20-25
I mainly checked out this book because of the author and narrator. Wasn’t sure past that but I wanted to give it a shot. And man am I glad I did. I greatly enjoy this concept of having a select group from a new world that is about to be “initiated into the system” of worlds. I enjoy the journey better than just doing the somewhat cliche “tutorial” concept. I actually like the MC who doesn’t seem to be shallow and lacking depth of character. He isn’t some dumb brute that is lacking in intelligence or adaptation capabilities. Even while being so young. Then we get to the personality where we don’t have a concern of him becoming a bit of a sociopath. He has a drive to improve. Looking forward to more development going forward.
The world building has been great and it’s been interesting to see various worlds, their races and societies.
The progression system isn’t overly complicated and easy to follow. With it having some unique aspects, especially the MC, that I am really looking forward to see where Oswald takes him!
As always, Travis Baldree gives a spectacular performance that causes me to be constantly be vigilant in checking to see if he is the narrator for a series. Definitely being one of my favorites and one of the few male narrators that I don’t cringe when they do female characters’ voices. Especially with more emotional scenes.
Anyway, I’ll stop here and say that I definitely highly recommend checking out this series! Now on to the next book!

Historia
Learning how to pray is one of the greatest challenges in a Christian's life. A. W. Tozer pointed out that the Church's greatest curse is unanswered prayer, and that many people do not seem bothered by that. Maybe they don't understand what answered prayer is all about. Tozer outlines this as only he can, describing the kind of prayer God answers and the kind of prayer that leaves Him silent. Ultimately, you have to ask yourself: are my prayers today more powerful and effective than they were a year ago? Our good Father wants them to be!

Has its ups and downs but overall a fun read.
Revisado: 08-13-24
I enjoyed the book for the most part. Though there are times where my attention waned. Though it is a long book and it might be expected.
I enjoyed the combat and how the progression system works. The mysteries and lore are some of my favorite aspects of cultivation genre. This book gives us glimpses throughout the book. I’m looking forward to the next book and for more secrets to be revealed.
The narrator was spectacular! The way weaves in emotional nuances to bring the characters, their story and the situations to life! I really enjoyed how he would change and alter his tone of voice to better enhance the suspense and excitement!
I’m not a fan of the whole “old and/or reincarnated soul” in a child’s body… and if it does, I hope that time would pass more quickly for aging. Unfortunately we don’t get that in this book but I’m hoping time passes quicker in the next book.

Love this series!
Revisado: 08-09-24
Sentar continues to bring us epic stories of magic, laughs and love. But also struggles, battles and challenges. I am moving on to the next audio immediately so I don’t want this to be too long. But I highly recommend it, especially if you, whoever you are, have already listened to the first. Bouche and Threet continue to give fantastic performances! With Sentar’s writing, it is one of my favorites! The new additions to the group are fun and have their own nuances. We now have two of our favorite anime tropes of a tsundere and yandere!
The relationship continue to develop which is something Sentar does really well. They don’t just stall out once a new love interest appears. Sentar continues to grow in his writing abilities which is a treat!
Ard continues to grow in his power and especially the control of it. While also displaying two jaw-dropping moments! Then we get to see a glimpse of the next level of magic from the previous generation.

Still enjoyable and has a lot of potential…
Revisado: 07-19-24
I am continuing to enjoy this series. I continue to hope for a certain future that is still possible. The MC is growing more into his powers and becoming more versatile. Though, I am hoping for more effort for him to actually make his power truly his… I mean that he is just throwing power at everything, lacking skill. Though he is progressing and getting better. Which has so much potential for more!
I like the ladies and I’m enjoying the growing relationships. Especially that his best friend is still part of the series and his finance remains his. The MC doesn’t need to have every single woman. And the family doesn’t have to just push everyone else to the sides.
Yes, I am looking forward to the next book!

Almost took out a Sorcerer!
Revisado: 07-11-24
There are several aspects that I get bored of such as the ridiculous sexual episodes… Regardless, Marvin’s ability to weave some great plotting with great storytelling keeps me coming back! The cultivation system is also one of my favorites!
Then you get to the battles and their fantastic nuances is a lot better than many I have read. There are the ridiculously obvious moments of “really?” But that just makes you smile like a an idiot as you picture this as an anime! Especially the battle with the whiner king and how he almost beat him! A Sorcerer! It was hilarious! Oh man, I am looking forward to the rematch in a later book!
Then there is the “prophecy” about the floating mountains in the capital coming to fruition! It was pure epic bossomness!!! Oh man, time for the next book!

Ashe, a child of five years, woke to screams of his fellow villagers and animal growls. Terrified, he asked what was going on, but his mother grabbed him and fled their village with his father in hopes to escape the lizardmen that were raiding it. They weren't fast enough. After a plan was made up to split up and meet in a cave not too far away, Ashe's mother rushed towards that direction. Ashe felt better because they were losing the lizardmen, but she tripped and found that her ankle was at an odd angle.

Had trouble at first but it quickly surprised me!
Revisado: 07-01-24
I was a little iffy at first but man am I glad I stuck with it! Xander continues to blow me away by the depth he can spin his lore and build the worlds in his books! The story is only lightly litrpg with it being the background and rarely checked as time goes on. It reminds me of Valens Legacy and Binding Words. The stats is just checked from time to time.
The main aspects I kind of had issues with was the slightly passivity that the MC began to display. Hope it changes in the next. It could just be that the MC is just growing into a position of power and strength as he grows in maturity. I am hoping the next audiobook goes up with Royal Guard soon!
