Historia
Before and after World War II, a serendipitous confluence of events created a healthy balance between the market and the polity - between the engine of capitalism and the egalitarian ideals of democracy. A global financial system was devised explicitly to allow nations to manage capitalism. Yet this golden era turned out to be lightning in a bottle. From the 1970s on, a power shift occurred, in which financial regulations were rolled back, taxes were cut, inequality worsened, and disheartened voters turned to far-right faux populism. Can democracy find a way to survive?

That we the us citizen has been taken advantage of
Revisado: 04-26-25
I believe our country needs to be run by a business man, I voted for Trump and feel that there is finally someone that is for us , the USA Citizen. The government has tried to mold the whole world into what it thinks it should be and left it's own citizens behind, only to use us to supply them with the finances to try running the world. I currently make as much monies as I made in 1984, due to all the immigrants that have entered our country. They have taken, and our country has given them everything. Using our tax dollars. We see what our so called Government Leaders have done to us. And SHAME on you

Historia
Bjorn Lomborg argues that many of the elaborate and expensive actions now being considered to stop global warming will cost hundreds of billions of dollars, are often based on emotional rather than strictly scientific assumptions, and may very well have little impact on the world’s temperature for hundreds of years. Rather than starting with the most radical procedures, Lomborg argues that we should first focus our resources on more immediate concerns, such as fighting malaria and HIV/AIDS and assuring and maintaining a safe, fresh water supply....

Solution for Goble Warming
Revisado: 12-22-24
This is now 2024, and apparently no one is listening to the false alarms on global warming. I only say this because our government has spent billions of tax payers monies on this and we are no closer to helping our world or people. We can only hope that the light bulb will turn on before we tax payers are all liing in poverty.

Revisado: 07-21-23
I learned so much about how important our mental health (brain health) and how important sleep is to our heath, my father just passed away from complications of alsheimers and he only slept 10 minutes here 10 there and I knew this affected him considerably in his mental thinking. Thank you.

Historia
The sense of position and movement is often called the sixth sense; the brain’s connection to the immune system might be a seventh. In this audiobook, we examine the diverse functions of the brain beyond the five senses, including the glymphatic system for maintaining brain health, the processes behind intuition, and new research raising questions about “brain death.”

This is Two
Revisado: 02-09-22
Im now wondering if I should be writing this, since the 1st time I tried had two paragraphs in and it deleted.
This happened to me in the middle 90`s, my daughters dad had everyone convinced that I was losing it, talked to everyone day care, my aunt, my mom. lucky my mom didnt believe a word but she didnt live in the same state, I found a great attorney, he told the court that he had consulted with her 6 months earlier, it could not be proven, so I lost her due to conflict of interest, the attorney i finally able to afford could care less, and at the time so many deadbeat dads that they were just glad to have a dad that wanted to have custody of his daughter, I wish I would of had someone to help me, my daughter is grown now but it was horrible.
There was nothing I could do. I hope carma fixes it...
It still hurts..

Historia
For the past few hundred years, most of what we’ve been taught about the native cultures of North America came from reports authored by the conquerors and colonizers who destroyed them. Now - with the technological advances of modern archaeology and a new perspective on world history - we are finally able to piece together their compelling true stories. In Ancient Civilizations of North America, Professor Edwin Barnhart, Director of the Maya Exploration Center, will open your eyes to a fascinating world you never knew existed - even though you’ve been living right next to it, or even on top of it.

My Country History
Revisado: 02-09-22
Finally a history of my country, I have been researching NATIVE AMERICAN history, hoping to find out more, but as you know not to much available accept when everyone else came to the new world. My family has done a history, but, being from New Mexico, Pecos, Santa Fe, Las Vegas area, it goes back about 300 years, have no ancestors from the south, that were in the linage. other than that its like we were just dropped there in the mountains my great, great grandfather was a translater for the government in the early 1900's.
Anyway everyone needs to hear this. and it should be taught in school, I guess our own history was too boring. Thank you for bringing so truth to my world.

Historia
Human sacrifice still goes on uncomfortably close to home - cases have been found in the U.S., Europe, and the United Kingdom. In other parts of the world, such as South America, ritual killing is almost commonplace. Human Sacrifice investigates the terrifying current spate of human sacrifices and ritual killings. Jimmy Lee Shreeve draws on police reports and interviews with the victims' families to paint a horrifying picture of ritual sacrifice at home and abroad.
