Great resource for those in troubled relationships

This book is a great resource for the empaths in the relationship to come to realization about perhaps why they have been experiencing such heartache in their relationship, if they happen to be in a relationship with a narcissist. It is laid out well to help the empath go through the phases of discovery, understanding, and then action for healing and recovery.
That said, I agree with many other reviewers that the narrator was quite horrible and detracted from the content. I sped up the book by 25% and that seemed to help a bit. Still if audiobook format is the only way you'll read this book, then definitely worth a listen.

Andy Weir just doesn't disappoint with his fantastic world-building and characters. Would have listened in one sitting if I could. Can't wait to escape into the next book if his.

I did not want to stop listening to this. This is such a good story; I would have listened to this in one sitting if I could have. I have a science background as well, so I very much appreciated the science, logic, and sequence of discovery throughout the book. Not once did I scoff or roll my eyes at something that didn't seem plausible or violating the science as we understand it today.

I also need to shout out to Roy Porter. What an amazing job narrating. Seemless switches from character to character, accent to accent. Perfect production.

Like Jonathan Livingston Seagull and The Little Prince. A lovely story with lots of life lessons to glean. I listened to this at work for a shift and will be listening again for another dose of wholesome storytelling.

I learned so much and was able to reflect on my own experiences as an individual contributor. I eventually want to be in a leadership role, so of course, all of this was applicable to the day that I am. Still, this helped me see what there is for myself right now as well and how to find a position as an individual contributor that doesn't burn me out.

To be honest, I was not expecting much when I decided to download and listen to this audiobook. I ended up listening to it in one sitting; I could not stop. Tyler is incredibly articulate and there is so much to learn from his story.

I stopped this one early on because the author mentioned the McDonald's case about the woman who sued them for coffee that was so hot it gave her severe burns. The author used it as an example of victim-, external locus-thinking. If the author dug a bit deeper into the details of the case he would have found that the woman wasn't immediately on board with suing and that the coffee was heated up to degrees well above tolerable or necessary for a hot drink. After hearing his lazy paragraph on that, I couldn't stand to listen to anymore or believe anything else he wrote.

this series of lectures is truly a thorough, Fair, and fascinating look at the history of language. I love how he explain things and sprinkle bin a decent amount of light humor. I wish I could have taken his course in person.

Lulu is such an amazing writer. This easily could have been such a cut and dry biography about David Star Jordan, but she has a brilliant way with words and I so appreciate what she shared of her own story.

For a free audiobpok, I am happy I chose this one. The acting of the cast was great. The little lessons were nice reminders of how to live.
