Great start to a fun series

I really enjoyed this one. The characters feel real and alive. The writing is fantastic for a first time author. The narration is pristine, which is no surprise given it is Mark Boyett (always fantastic). If you enjoy these types of found starship stories, then this is a good one. As the story unfolds, you get a lot of really unique worldbuilding, which is rare nowadays, so I really appreciated that. The technology is also really creative. I'm excited for the sequel.

Another awesome book

The team delivers another great entry in a fun and inspiring series. Boyett brings his A-game as he takes over from Daniels. While I enjoyed Daniels in the previous books, I have to say I prefer Boyett in the role. His nuanced acting and narration really works for the characters and makes it an enjoyable listen. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Awesome book

A great story with awesome characters, narrated by one of the best. Galactic Shield tells an interesting story about Humanity's early days in the Andromeda Galaxy and the first intergalactic police precinct. Their mission is to keep the peace and help both Humans and aliens alike survive and thrive in what is essentially the Wild West of space. The lead character "Breaker" is a tough and experienced cop just trying to help people. Personally, I love seeing characters like this and I find them inspiring. Breaker is perfectly played by Mark Boyett, who brings his tested vocals to the book and provides a great rendition. I hope more books follow (seems to be the plan) very soon as I am already very eager for more.

another winner!

M.F. Lerma and J.N. Chaney are great storytellers. I've also been really impressed with the job Neill Thorne has done. This is a great series that I highly recommend. If you enjoyed book 1, pick this one up and get ready for some fun. The story keeps the action up and the characters continue to grow and evolve. Gray is especially fun.

Great series

Book 2 in the series is just as good as the first. I've really been enjoying this one since it released. Hopefully book 3 comes out soon on audio, since it is already out in ebook. Keep up the great work, gents. You're killing it.

This was a great conclusion to this trilogy. I was sad to see it end, but Chaney and Partlow delivered a great story. Boyett was fantastic and I hope he does more work with Chaney in the future. Thank you for the adventure.

Love me some of this

If it wasn't obvious, this is a wonderful series. The writing, characterizations, and story are all top notch, but the narration brings it all together. I love picking up with Rev and the team to see where they are and what's going on, like visiting old friends. If you've come this far, you probably know what to expect. Keep bringing the goods, gentlemen.

This series is extraordinary

I'm addicted to this series. At work, I find myself daydreaming about finding my own starship, asking myself what I would do. I'd like to imagine I'd be like Van and help people, but I'd probably be selfish and just go explore everything.

The story so far has been really addictive. It's no wonder it's become such a huge success. I also appreciate how fast the audio is releasing. It seems like they're pretty regular--every two months--which, as someone who listens to books every day, is a godsend.

Already preordered book 4 and can't wait to start it when it releases. Keep up the great work, fellas.
