Love in the Outback

Growing up around ranches, I appreciated that the book discussed some of the hardships of ranching in remote areas. The loneliness and sacrifices that come with it at times, and how having someone to lean on and share those hardships with, can make all the difference in the world. The storyline and narration were superb.

I have to echo others when they say it reads like a YA book at times, instead of one with more mature MC's, and that it's not my favorite book by the author. But there were moments sprinkled throughout the book that make you smile and feel the connection that the two share. The narration also felt a little robotic at times. Overall, not a bad read.

I was presently surprised at how easy this storyline was to follow. Fantasy books tend to lose readers with too many storylines and characters with obscure names. But not this series! You can easily put together each character's story and how they intertwine. And can we talk about the spice?? Because it is definitely spicing!

This book needs to come with a warning, to listen to it in a subzero climate, because holy smokes is it HOT! It explores the depths of erotica in a way most romance books shy away from. Yet there was a soft and sensuous element throughout it as well. Super spicy, steamy, and passion off the Richter Scale. 10/10 would recommend! Just don't listen to it at work...unless that's your thing.
