Too much
Revisado: 07-02-21
This book was lovely written, but is. Harsh. Too harsh. Im not sure how i feel but for the fact that i am tired. And upset and sad. I know a good book should make you feel. But i am overwhelmed.

Historia
The only thing August Pfeiffer hates more than algebra is living in a vampire town. Located at a nexus of mystical energy fields, Fulton Heights is practically an electromagnet for supernatural drama. And when a mysterious (and annoyingly hot) vampire boy arrives with a cryptic warning, Auggie suddenly finds himself at the center of it. An ancient and terrible power is returning to the earthly realm, and somehow Auggie seems to be the only one who can stop it.

Truly the most respectful trans story.
The story of a teenager struggling with acceptance is already fascinating and harsh. But add ghosts and you've got an awesome book that truly feels right.
I cried like. A lot. And mostly just because i couldnt believe i was reading about a character like me,
Who wasnt a joke to the narrator, who was understood by the author deeply, and wasnt something bad or wrong.
Thank you.
