I like books by GH and I get where she was going with this one. Was not a fan of the serial harassment nor the cyber bulling however that stuff happens every day. The characters were weak compared to other books I've read from this author so for me that's the thing that had me putting the book down in the middle of the story of course the narrator no offense to this particular narrated however voice was just so annoying there was no real differentiation between the characters voices for me it just sounded like one long monologue again I'm not familiar with this particular narrator and sometimes one story for a particular narrator just doesn't suit your voice so this isn't necessarily a knock on the narrator but it is something to consider.

Tough to listen to
Revisado: 04-11-23
The story was an interesting story it had the potential to be great. The characters development was ok. Although there were parts where I couldn't determine which character was which that may be due to the narrator more so than how the story was written. The narration was not great. As a narrator learning things such as tone, diction, pitch, and different accents is a must. This narrator did not do well with those things. When narrating Intimate scenes one has to have passion. The Intimate scenes were flat. I felt no chemistry between the main characters based on how the story was narrated. No passion. The narration was just not that good. I haven't actually read the book maybe I'll purchase from kindle and see if the story feels different when I read it as opposed to listening to it.

Historia
Scarlet Campbell’s friends had all coupled off, and it had happened this year. All five of them had found love while Scarlet had continued to go back and forth about coming out to her family, and on top of that, she still couldn’t talk to women. Every time she tried, she choked. She got nervous. She said something stupid. As a result, she was still a single nerd who worked as a data analyst and did coding on the side.

I loved this continuation of the series. The series would be perfect foe Showtime. Just say mmming. Only issue I had was the narrator. Her voice was not the best for me . I would have preferred Abbey Craden or Angela Dawe. Overall though a great series.

Historia
No straight women. No parents of students. Nobody under 35. Vanessa Martini makes no apologies for her dating checklist. She’s been up close to enough messy breakups to know what havoc they wreak in life. Just because people see her as fun and happy, and just because she loves her life in general, that doesn’t mean she can’t be careful. Or discerning. Or, okay, fine, super picky.

Revisado: 03-22-22
The story itself was not bad. The narration was awful. I got through chapter seven and couldn't take anymore. I am a hugh fan of Georgia Beers but this narrator is just not good. She may want to take some voice classes to help with her craft.

I loved this book. Abby brings these characters to life in a way that has you not wanting to stop listening. I finished this book in one day. Listened from start to finish. Jae is a mastery with words. I would
literally read anything she writes. She is THAT good!. I find myself now looking for the first three books. Amazon... here I come.

Revisado: 08-22-20
I read the book and knew how well the story was written with strong well developed characters. I was hoping for an audiobook and now it's here. J.A.Armstrong is an incredible writer and Jill Smith is very talented. She brought the book to life. You can feel the love, the pain the passion and the humor. I can't wait for the next one.

Good story
Revisado: 05-06-20
The book was well written although I struggled with Sarah not being able to make up her mind towards the end. It just seemed to take her a very long time to to say yes when that's all she wanted.

Revisado: 12-02-19
I must say Jill Smith is fantastic. She brought these books to life. I read the series then purchased the audio books. Each character came to life I could see the story unfold I could feel the love...the conflict...the unity of Whisky Springs. This series of books would make a great movie. Good job to J. A.Armstrong for writing such a compelling story and an even better job to Jill Smith for bringing the series to life. I can't wait for the next one. There just has to be another.
