Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Way too foul-mouthed
Revisado: 01-28-24
Even with the f-bomb in the title, whereby I expected that there would be some coarse language, nevertheless there was such a flood of foul-minded four-letter words in this audiobook that I had to stop listening after a short time. Even though modern American popular culture seems to think that such a surfeit of four-letter words is perfectly fine and is some sort of badge of authenticity, life has convinced me that such words carry a poisonous energy which de-civilizes people and ultimately society. That is, people who speak or write like barbarians sooner or later become barbarians.

Historia
For Milo, everything’s a bore. When a tollbooth mysteriously appears in his room, he drives through only because he’s got nothing better to do. But on the other side, things seem different. Milo visits the Island of Conclusions (you get there by jumping), learns about time from a ticking watchdog named Tock, and even embarks on a quest to rescue Rhyme and Reason. Somewhere along the way, Milo realizes something astonishing. Life is far from dull. In fact, it’s exciting beyond his wildest dreams.

One of the greatest books ever!
Revisado: 07-09-23
This is one of the greatest, most delightful, most imaginative, and wisest books I have ever read! it's for everyone who seeks good cheer, sparkling wordplay, soul-restoring inspiration, and loving beneficence via an utterly superb story. Like Walden, like A Christmas Carol, this is one of those rare and wonderful books that can transform its readers into something finer, kinder, and wiser than they were before. So read this book, or listen to this excellent audio version, to go on a journey the likes of which you have never taken before!

Historia
Clarence, ninth Earl of Emsworth, sank back in his chair looking like the good old man in a Victorian melodrama whose mortgage the villain had just foreclosed. Lord Emsworth needed Galahad. There are tricky corners to be rounded, and assorted godsons, impostors, and pretty girls to be paired off. Fortunately, many years’ membership of the Pelican Club means the Hon. Galahad Threepwood is able to keep cool, stiffen his upper lip, and always think a shade quicker than the next man.

Delightful British comic genius strikes again!
Revisado: 09-09-22
This is yet another splendid and delightful book by the incomparable P.G. Wodehouse. His dazzling mastery of the English language is part and parcel of the genius and ingenuity of his stories, so wonderfully funny and told with a brilliantly light-touch sophistication. Those who seek sour cynicism, look elsewhere. These are the stories of a genial comic genius whose delight in life shines through every single page, which will shine through you too if you have a good and kindly heart.
The British narrator is superb, bringing the narration and all the characters to sparkling life, giving each one a pitch-perfect distinctive voice in what can only be described as a tour de force. Bravo!
