I love to curl up with a good romance that doesn’t get all graphic and you know… this was exactly that! It was a sweet storyline that came through especially with the narration. Through the author’s words and the way the narrator spoke them (and the other narrators for the other characters which was unexpected and cool!) I could really get a picture for in my head for the story. I didn’t feel like someone was just monotone reading to me… I felt the characters come to life! I would recommend this for a feel good weekend read, beach vacation, feel good whenever read! I hope to find others by this author/narrator!

I loved this book! The description of the characters was great and the emotions and feelings which are so strong at that age really came thru not only from the author’s use of word descriptions but the narrator who did such a great job with emphasis at just the right places. I really felt the feelings of the characters., not just being read to but in the mind of the characters. I would recommend and feel comfortable for any tween up reading this. Emotions of first loves are strong and older women can remember and relate to that too!

Paris provides an authentic feeling peek into her life. The first few chapters I was a bit not so sure but as the book got deeper so did she in delving in to her very personal life and moments. It’s obviously hard for most people to relate to someone who is raised with the wealth she was or heck even just in a California or NYC life if you didn’t grow up that way. She provides really good detail on what she did and her interactions. I surely don’t remember my childhood in that detail! And then for her time at the ‘reform center’ whatever you call those horrid places she really gives great insight and allows the reader to feel the impact as much as one can for what she experienced. And why and how the survivors kept quiet. How awful that even the children of wealth were not believed I cannot even imagine how that would sever and impact my ability to trust when the main people who are to love and care for you do not believe you time and time again. Every escape she detailed I was rooting that she got away. She was brutally honest throughout the book on abortion and sex selection of her children… that can be off putting to some. I hope she chooses a life option for her remaining embryos. But as a celebrity I suppose embryo donation would be difficult. I appreciate the honesty and the advice she gives I only wish people had given that sooner. More people need to give that kind of advice she gives!! Paris you made a little Hilton out of me after listening to your book. All the best to you and your precious family. I’m sure you’ll be a terrific Mom now that I’ve read your book!
