What a fascinating story. It demonstrates a psychological /neurological state you can be born into; the same way a person can be born autistic, and on the same kind of spectrum. Fascinating and mind blowing. A courageous and deeply personal memoir.

Educational: and a lot of fun

It was so fun to be surprised at Quinta's story(s)! This book added layers to my appreciation of the craft of comedy, the vulnerability of being honest, and that some folks have DRIVE!! It was also cool to hear about the diverse bunch of experiences and individuals it takes to weave heart, wisdom and laughter into an entertaining show.

Devoured this book!

Usually when I buy political books, I start with enthusiasm, but rarely finish them. They just get too heavy. This book, on the contrary, gets into the minds of a lot of political insiders; and those minds are full of strange complexities. A fascinating read.

I read through most of the Bible when I was in my 20s. It was an arduous and painstaking search for truth; and I found a few precious nuggets. This version is so entertaining that it reminds me of the good stuff I found in it the first time. And also reminds me that, Lordy; those were some crazy times; and people are equally goofy now. A great read!

I heard Michael Fanone on a podcast, and thought I would give this a try. He sounded interesting. But what I found was so much more passionate and vital than that. An incredible read.

If you've ever wondered what the hard right could do in this country, slowly chipping away at the rights of women, minorities and everybody except white Christian men; this true story spells it out! It's a different country, and different religious hard right: but very similar story. Eye-opening.

Simple spiritual storytelling

This book is like the 'People Magazine' version of a cosmic story. It's very 'bingeable', and keeps you listening. The only downside is that in the end, the message is diluted by my inability to imagine impossibly big, bigger, biggest; and light, lighter, lightest of existences.
Still, fun and worthwhile.

For a special type of Trans understanding

Very interesting story from a Trans person who believes medically transitioning was very helpful to her. I wonder if full acceptance of People who don't fit into any gender stereotypes m alleviate the need to go thru medical changes. But full acceptance of different types of folks is certainly helpful - towards a living society, either way.
