Revisado: 09-07-19
kristoff divided to leave time between his releases making me forget how much of an absolute terrible author he is, he has no creativity in his body everything written is so obvious and cliche it’s laughable. everything about this book is disgusting and stupid just like him, not worth your time in the slightest if u do decide to read be prepared to face so much weird disgusting smut, and the absolutely laughable character arc of mia killing thousands but, oh don’t forget her kind heart. this author in every novel can not write a believable character for shit. i can’t even put my words together this book is so terrible, just please do not read it, it is so stupid and disgusting with every chapter being terrible, no idea y i even made it as far into the book as i did.

Historia
Amber Patterson is fed up. She's tired of being a nobody: a plain, invisible woman who blends into the background. She deserves more - a life of money and power like the one blond-haired, blue-eyed goddess Daphne Parrish takes for granted. To everyone in the exclusive town of Bishops Harbor, Connecticut, Daphne - a socialite and philanthropist - and her real-estate mogul husband, Jackson, are a couple straight out of a fairy tale. Amber's envy could eat her alive...if she didn't have a plan.

The second half was Rough and a boring finale
Revisado: 10-14-18
I though that the book would have been acceptable, if you only read the first half, the second half felt like it was the authors scrambled attempt to try and create drama, and make the book just a little bit longer. I felt it was unnecessary, and would have been better without it, what if we never got the other side so when it ended then it was revealed that Daphne was playing Amber the whole time. On the topic of endings, the ending was atrocious, it was a sad attempt at suspense, and SO BORING, it was the most cliche ever, good guy wins, bad guys lose, and all is resolved and that’s why you should always to sweet. But I think the worst part beside the ending, was the characters, they were pretty much characters. It like the author literally had never met any woman in the world before writing this novel. So I think that you should not waste any money on this book and go elsewhere if you want this kind of thriller.

Historia
When you listen to this audiobook, you will make many assumptions. You will assume you are listening to a story about a jealous ex-wife. You will assume she is obsessed with her replacement - a beautiful, younger woman who is about to marry the man they both love. You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle. Assume nothing. Twisted and deliciously chilling, The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage - and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.

okay at best
Revisado: 03-02-18
this book definitely didn't deserve the hype, the narrator wasn't great, the book was too fast pase--though that might be because I listened to it in 3x speed,-- it was also very predictable. a lot of the reviews compared it to gone girl, which I thought was accurate--as it had a lot of plot holes, and it was very better than average but got an insane amount of love. the book was confusing at times, yes, it was, usually I try to piece every part of a book together, but this book was set up as, here is a ton of really confusing stuff that just makes it look like were being clever, even though this stuff is really bullshit. this book was definitely written as a book that would grace the top is written, it has abuse, multiple string women, multiple view points, a lot of other stuff too, but the biggest thing is that it makes it so you have to piece together if you want the full picture, but it's like one of thos puzzles that even though a few puzzle pieces are missing it's still fine without them-- not that I'm saying the book is good-- but they are added because that's what people like, and they are made so easy to pass over and also complicated because they know most readers are not that intelligent, but they are made hard to crack so that the other readers who are intelligent enough to know to avoid it they get sucked in to solve the mystery. okay I've said my price, also sorry for the punctuation and capitalization mistakes, I have a dyslexia so it is hard to properly write like this.
