Another fantastic novel with assassins in the 40K universe

I downloaded this one because it was voted 3rd best novel of the year by Black Library. Holy smokes was this a banger! A super compelling story with an awesome setting on a knight world and different assassin temples having to work together. 10/10 would recommend. Took me all of 3 days to listen to, I couldn’t stop. I had to know what would happen!

Absolutely perfect introduction of the lion into the 40K universe

I had extremely high hopes for this book and I was absolutely blown away by how awesome this was! Give me 100 books like this one. This is a must listen and read for any true fan of the setting. I had multiple moments where I yelled at loud. Absolutely got chills at the end. Do yourselves a favor and download this right now.

A ton of character growth from our protagonist who you will cheer for by the end of the book.

I absolutely loved the parts of the book with titan legions clashing! I’m not sure why, but the Ollanius story really lost me at times. I just didn’t really care about weather he made it back to John or not. Overall another solid entry.
