Historia
Regression Through the Mirrors of Time is a past-life exercise in which Dr. Brian L. Weiss leads you first to childhood memories in this lifetime, then guides you to visualize yourself in many mirrors of light, in different (often ancient) times and places. This will enable you to discover the blocks and obstacles that impede your present-day peace and joy.

Way too fast
Revisado: 06-13-24
Delivery of the pre-induction and induction was so fast all it did was make me anxious; the complete opposite purpose of a meditation. Even after slowing the audio down, he gave little to no time to visualize anything before he spoke again. If you are new to meditation I do not recommend this as a good example of connecting with your higher self. Try Glenn Harrold or even Dr Joe Dispenza if you prefer mainstream authors.

Makes too many assumptions
Revisado: 02-17-15
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The author's use of ALWAYS, NEVER, and YOU NEED TO were indications of his assumption that he understands the process of every single person's mind. I heartily disagreed with many statements, and was put off by his requirement that my mind--and its chatter--fit into his pre-defined category of being wild and reckless. The tone of this book was extremely condescending to me, and it droned on with far too many examples of the same concept long after I got the message.
Would you ever listen to anything by Michael A. Singer again?
No.
How could the performance have been better?
Many other reviewers have defined how the narrator's voice fluctuated so much that it was difficult to hear the end of sentences.
Did The Untethered Soul inspire you to do anything?
It inspired me to read The Power of Now again, as Tolle's book does not make sophomoric assumptions that all minds work in the same manner.
Any additional comments?
If you are new to spirituality, and metaphysics, then the extremely casual guidance of this book may serve you. Please just remember that anyone that tells you what you "must" do is not necessarily looking after your best interest. In a world of free choice, you have the decision to choose what you do with your mind, and for many, a much gentler and more introspective approach may better resonate with those desiring to make lasting change.
