Good story, bad choice in narrator

As other reviews have said the narrator was off for this story, but it’s like others where once you’re able to get into the story it’s a little less distracting. The story seems to be the fictional one that the movie character wrote, a spy thriller, but this is not the movie itself. I did enjoy the story, and am a fan of the James Bond/Mission Impossible spy genres, this was similar to those. I was cleaning while listening otherwise I would have returned the audiobook in favor of reading the actual book.

loved this, it was an interesting story with good narration. There's one spot where it felt like the story shifted and the tone / writing style changed... but it's more of an observation. Overall I enjoyed the narrator's tone it felt like it fit the main character. The concept was interesting and story flowed at a nice pace.
I listen to audiobooks while working and walking and can say if you're a binge listener and looking for a new series give this one a shot. It's a good standalone as well if you don't want another book.

Light novel about relationship struggles

This book seems like the next chapter in a love story or basically picks up where most other romances end, like what happens after they fall in love and live happily ever after.
I liked the narrator and felt she gave a good performance. Parts of the story were a little graphic for a regular romance novel but no graphic enough for erotica.
The characters were likeable enough. The story could've delved a little deeper in some areas but was good overall, so it was good listening on my daily commute to work.

if you enjoy the Harper/ Ronconi team you'll enjoy this one too. Good narration. Nice easy to listen to story, likable characters, perfect beach book/ Sunday afternoon book.

This is one of those fables you will hear something new each time you listen to it. Jeremy Irons is an excellent narrator and the story is very well written.

Love this series

Really wasn't ready for this one to end... If you're a fan of the other books in the series I think you'll enjoy this one. If you're thinking about starting here do yourself a favor and go back to the first book. The narration is excellent and the stories don't disappoint. Hoping there's another one in the future.

lifetime hallmark movie in audio form

struggled to finish this book, the main characters just annoyed me... neither woman seemed to actually be in their 30s and took more punishment than they should have. while I wasn't a fan of this book i do like the author's overall writing style and prose

Strangely enjoyable

I didn't expect to like this book as much as I did, just thought it might be interesting and nice to listen to something a little different. Fred is exactly who he is the whole way thru the book, I appreciate that the author kept him that way despite the situations he encountered. I would recommend this book for someone who needs a change of pace, tired of listening to the same type of romances and mystery novels, that just wants to hear good book.

i liked the author's reading of the stories, but the stories seemed like they could have been organized better. other than that i could really identify with some of her stories and found the overall book to be enjoyable.
i recommend this book to people looking for a daily anecdote or blog type of story, as that seems like how the chapters are broken up.

Refreshing way of seeing the law of attraction. I really appreciated how the book went into more details about how many different factors affect the law of attraction. The details being the 18 laws included in the book, and listed in the table of contents. Also appreciated some of the exercises that were presented at the end and through out the book. I paired this book with whisper sync and also like the narration. The narrator's voice was pleasant and she read at a good speed. I will listen/read more from this author.
