Highly Applicable, Great Investment of Time
Revisado: 11-18-23
Be prepared to actively listen and apply what you learn. Recommend getting a book club or buddy to get the most out of the book. A bit dry in parts, regardless a great addition to any library.

Historia
We’re constantly seeking answers to these fundamental human questions, and now, science has the answers. The foods we enjoy, the people we love, the emotions we feel, and the beliefs we hold can all be traced back to our DNA, germs, and environment. This witty, colloquial book is popular science at its best, describing in everyday language how genetics, epigenetics, microbiology, and psychology work together to influence our personality and actions.

A must read for any lifetime learner.
Revisado: 11-15-21
A great look at recent advances, historic progressions, and visionary speculation in DNA influences—Everything from the microbiomes regulating systems internally and externally to the epigenic changes of trauma that become imprinted on our genetic code. Owning more than the DNA we are born with opens the door to discovering and strengthening positive influences for the individual, environment, and collective.

Essential Insights and Practical Actions to Improve Anyone’s Digital Communication
Revisado: 07-11-21
Absolute must read and enjoyable read/listen—why?
•Diverse Cultural Insights across age, gender, authority, geography, digital nativity, etc. necessary to build trust and connection.
•Relatable experiences covered will validate your own experience and give you fresh perspective for the future.
•Well informed storytelling, organizational and anecdotal supporting examples provide great actionable insights for any phase of your personal or professional life.
•”Geriatric Millennial” is only used once (by my count) as the author refers to herself late in the book.
The viral #GeriatricMillennial moment is also how I became introduced to Erica Dhawan’s work on Digital Body Language.
Fortunately the book’s publisher put a hard copy in my hand so I could see the true value of Erica Dhawan’s Digital Body Language in entirety. To maximize its input, I happily paid to add it to my Audible library so I could listen at the gym. And again in the future!
Expect this book to find its way to curriculums in business management, marketing, internal comms, leadership, etc. and a steppingstone to diversity and inclusion topics.
