Historia
Fourth in the series of Charlotte and Thomas Pitt mysteries, Anne Perry's Resurrection Row explores the dark undercurrents that run through the lives of the idle rich in Victorian England. After a wonderful night at the theatre, Thomas and Charlotte find themselves confronted with a corpse in the driver's seat of a cab. Even more shocking, it is the body of a peer who had been decently buried the week before.

Great short Christmas story
Revisado: 07-18-23
The story, like the books, is very well written. The narration, as others have mentioned, is not the best especially when compared to the narration of the rest of the series.

Jimmy was a wealthy racehorse owner, known far and wide as The Dancing Man. In a town like Dingle, everyone knows a little something about everyone else. But dig a bit deeper, and there’s always much more to find.

Great story
Revisado: 07-16-23
As others have mentioned, the story was great but the reader was fairly monotone throughout. A bit of change with change of intensity in plot would help.

Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

The small village of Kilbane is hosting a poker tournament at the local pub, and card sharp Eamon Foley, a tinker out of Dublin, is set to win the tournament. But when Foley is found at the end of a rope, it’s time for the garda to take matters into their own hands. Oh dear…
Revisado: 02-21-23
This should be marked as 2.5 in the series - it is very out of place after the third book. Also, the narration is very, very bad. I wish I’d read the reviews before starting so I wasn’t so disappointed. I don’t think I will/can listen to the whole thing - I’ve skipped the middle third just so I learn what happened.

Historia
La moria grandissima began its terrible journey across the European and Asian continents in 1347, leaving unimaginable devastation in its wake. Five years later, 25 million people were dead, felled by the scourge that would come to be called the Black Death. The Great Mortality is the extraordinary epic account of the worst natural disaster in European history - a drama of courage, cowardice, misery, madness, and sacrifice that brilliantly illuminates humankind's darkest days when an old world ended and a new world was born.
