I’m a former submariner and loved the book’s authenticity
Revisado: 03-14-20
I served 10 years in submarines and thoroughly enjoyed this book. It’s pulp writing at its finest, believable and lovable characters. I had an emotional attachment to the SandTiger and it’s crew, especially Harrison and Braddock.
I wish there were six more books :)

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Loved the story. It has romance and is a thriller with a touch of sci-fi. Found it enjoyable and kept me engaged especially the final 7-8 hours.

Perfect for kids and parents to listen to together
Revisado: 09-06-19
My 9 year old daughter and i listened to this on a long road trip. Wow! It was a fantastic listen, some other reviewer said it perfectly - "It was like a movie i watched with my ears".
The writing was great, the narration was from a cast which made it more enjoyable.
I hope there is a sequel.
Great work!

Overall very good story
Revisado: 07-22-19
After the first hour I was not so sure I would finish the story because it was a little slow as characters were introduced . But then the pace kicked it up a LOT. Military engagements, politics, alien threats, and much more.
The narrator did a *really* good job with male and female voices including accents.
Overall I was very happy with this book and eagerly listened to most of it.

Awesome addition to the series...with Samurais!
Revisado: 07-13-19
The realistic military scenarios and tactics is engaging. Throw in samurais, zombies and ancient snake people civilization and I’m hooked!!
The book gives more background into Tanaka’s past and how she became the red dragon. Besides Captain Wolfe my favorite character is probably Rusty, I enjoy his playful nature and antics while getting sh** done.
This story puts the team into a no-win scenario that even the brass feels they’re outmatched and shouldn’t take the mission. But with a whole town of 5,000 disappeared, the team feels compelled to go into action.
I would have liked the Samurai to play a larger role, their mystery was deep and we only scratched the surface. Would enjoy seeing them help out in a future mission. :)
Cronin, the narrator did a great job for men, women, monsters, Asian accents and a god. He’s a real asset to this series.

Tons of military action, monsters and magic. I love it!
This is a very good follow up in the series as it explores more deeply the relationships between the team members and the tensions between them and goes much deeper into the changes captain wolf endures.
I found the subplot with the female wolf interesting because it gave new avenues to explore in Captain Wolf’s life as he struggles to control himself.
The writing was good and the author finds a good balance in his storytelling that doesn’t get too wordy.
The narration for book 3 was as good as the other two. The narrator did well with the variety of voices required.

Historia
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Space battles, ground fighting , lots of alien races , million year old AI with snarky personality. The action has humor sprinkled about that made me laugh out loud in public while listening. I loved this story.

I’m now a fan of narrator RC Bray
Revisado: 11-23-18
Overall good stories, tons of action and realistic scenarios of boat life (I’m a former submariner).
RC Bray did a wonderful job! His accents for many characters was pretty good and it made some of the characters richer.
I highly recommend this series!
