Historia
The battle of the dead was won, but at a great cost. Sion, leader of the Mist Village, was left with only pain and regret as Richter was claimed by the abyss. What no one but the abandoned chaos seed knows is that he narrowly avoided the curse of the lich Singh, a curse that still hangs above his head. Now, surrounded by miles of darkness and tons of crushing rock, Richter has to find his way back into the light.

1/2 a book
Revisado: 06-12-20
I couldn't believe it ended where it did, so much of this chapter was filler. Just stats after stats and no real movement with the story line, so disappointed.

The author tries awfully hard to be hip and modern

Great second installment to the series
Revisado: 02-05-19
The book starts a little slow but picks up great by the end of the first act. Really enjoy the main protagonist has he feels to have some depth of character as does the sister. But several of the supporting players feel a bit one dimensional but they are still fun. All in all would recommend the series.

Historia
With the great Traction City of London completely destroyed, Tom Natsworthy and Hester Shaw travel across the world, trading with other airships and adventuring on the exciting and exotic routes of the Bird Roads. When their little scrapyard aircraft is pursued by rocket-firing gunships, the ice city of Anchorage offers them sanctuary.

Really enjoyable series so far
Revisado: 12-19-18
I've enjoyed the first 2 books of the series, but I believe the first had better world building, where the 2nd book seemed to expand on the characters a bit more.
