Historia
They made their presence on Earth known thirteen years ago. Providing technology and scientific insights far beyond what mankind was capable of. They became indispensable advisors and promised even more gifts that we just couldn't pass up. We called them Gurus. It took them a while to drop the other shoe. You can see why, looking back.

not bad But It is confusing.
Revisado: 06-19-18
confusing for nearly a third of the book due to plot driven effects on characters but I am still curious where it is going so I'm still gonna get the next book.

Historia
Locked behind bars for three years, Shadow did his time, quietly waiting for the day when he could return to Eagle Point, Indiana. A man no longer scared of what tomorrow might bring, all he wanted was to be with Laura, the wife he deeply loved, and start a new life. But just days before his release, Laura and Shadow's best friend are killed in an accident. With his life in pieces and nothing to keep him tethered, Shadow accepts a job from a beguiling stranger he meets on the way home, an enigmatic man who calls himself Mr. Wednesday.

Meh
Revisado: 06-08-18
it's not bad but I found it annoying when Gaiman would use 5,6 or 7 examples/adjectives in a row when the first 2 would paint just as fine a mental picture. I actually fast forwarded for almost 2 minutes to get to one of these overly verbose bits and still had to sit through more of it. I enjoyed the "iron druid" series by Kevin Hearne, and he LOVES Neil Gaiman so I figured I would give him a shot. I bought Norse mythology and American gods listening to them back to back. horse mythology was by far the better of the 2 books because he was forced into a style of writing that curtailed his penchant for what I found to be the more annoying aspects of his preferred writing style. In the end it was a book that I do not regret listening to but that I cannot recommend to most people.

Historia
Rough and surly, smooth and sultry, or quick and raw however you like it, you'll find it in Studs, 20 of the hottest and best-written man-to-man sex stories to appear in print this year. In "Underground Operator" two men on a nearly empty subway platform indulge in rough, anonymous sex that lets them momentarily forget the stifling summer heat. "Donuts to Demons" finds a self-described "rock-n-roll artfag" searching for a lover as patient and gifted and generous as he advertised on Craigslist.

almost unbearable
Revisado: 05-02-15
easily the least erotic collection of stories I have ever read. only 3 or 4 of the stories in this collection actually contain sex most are just depressing sad stories that drone on for 30 minutes and go no where. if you thought that the movie Mask (the one with Cher) was a tense erotic tale of lust and desire, then this book is for you. no criticism of Mr Gunn however.

Historia
Neal Asher takes on first contact, Polity style. This original novel recounts the first contact between the aggressive Prador aliens, and the Polity Collective as it is forced to retool its society to a war footing. The overwhelming brute force of the Prador dreadnaughts causes several worlds and space stations to be overrun. Prador Moon follows the initial Polity defeats, to the first draws, and culminates in what might be the first Polity victory, told from the point of view of two unlikely heroes.

good book poor narration.
Revisado: 04-07-15
the narrator constantly pronounces words incorrectly, its irritating and distracting but possible to get past.
