Historia
Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.

One of the BEST
Revisado: 01-25-17
I laughed out loud. I chuckled too many times to count. I nodded my head in agreement. And I flat out cried. This book was able to pull out all of these emotions and more. So well written and one of the best I have listened to in a while!

Keeps a smile on your face
Revisado: 08-02-10
Just like Doris Day - a smile just appears on your face and stays there throughout the book. Yes, it is totally frivolous, but a wonderful, entertaining read with a good theory. Think about who you are and what you would like to change. Maybe you don't want to be Doris Day, but then............who knows!!

Disappointing Ending
Revisado: 07-11-10
I am a huge Jack Reacher fan and always will be. I am disappointed with Mr. Hill's decision to end the story in the manner in which he did. However, it doesn't take away from an exciting and provocative story - it just seemed a bit abrupt and hanging.

Historia
When reporter Ellen Gleeson gets a "Have You Seen This Child?" flyer in the mail, she almost throws it away. But something about it makes her look again, and her heart stops—the child in the photo is identical to her adopted son, Will. Her every instinct tells her to deny the similarity between the boys, because she knows her adoption was lawful. But she's a journalist and won't be able to stop thinking about the photo until she figures out the truth. And she can't shake the question: if Will rightfully belongs to someone else, should she keep him or give him up?

Thought Provoking Subject Matter
Revisado: 05-23-10
Good story. Well written. As a mother, made me do some good soul-searching and helps you realize never to take your life, your children, and those you love for granted. Things can change in an instant.

Historia
Arranged marriages seldom happen in modern America, so Daisy Devreaux hates her father's ultimatum: marry the humorless man he has picked for her, or go to jail. It's not much of a deal for Alex Markov, the prospective groom, either. He's got no time to indulge an uptown girl. So Alex puts Daisy to work in his traveling circus, expecting the harsh realities will break her. Instead, he finds she's got heart enough for both of them.

Always Enjoyable
Revisado: 10-18-09
For fun, light and truly romantic frivolity, I always turn to SEP. In Kiss an Angel, she brings to life the sights and sounds of the every day circus and weaves a heartwarming love story throughout the story. Like I said, always enjoyable!

Light & Fun
Revisado: 05-20-09
I have recently started listening to SEP audio books and find myself always smiling throughout the entire read. Her writing is carefree and fun, but she brings a nice and honest approach to human nature in all her stories. Natural Born Charmer was great and I was sorry when I reached the end. Now onto Match Me..........
