Alan Tanner had what he thought was the perfect life. He had a good job, a beautiful wife and three pretty great kids. His whole world got turned upside down when he woke up to the zombie apocalypse. Now he must figure out how to survive and protect the people he loves. Alan knew it wouldn't be easy, but he didn't expect to deal with human monsters and a literal crazy man on top of everything else. With the help of his best friend Ryan, and the rest of his family, some blood and some chosen, maybe they can actually survive this.

Relatable and Investable Characters

The author did a great job of giving us relatable characters that can we can get invested in. At one point I actually yelled out loud oh no not….(I won’t spoil it). It was a false alarm….this time. I enjoyed the disbelief and reference to current zombie pop culture . The narrator choice was perfect! Enjoy!
