There is quite a bit of violence, very detailed. The author does not shy away from the " taboo ", so if the reader is Squamish, its not for you.
I like that The Farm, is so different from what is out there on Horror novels.
It did make me a little nauseous, and tear up. I had some internal disagreements with the author as i was listening to the story.
And i think, that this is the whole point, when reading a book. To engage the reader.

Too many characters, too much " talking "
I found myself drifting away most times when the characters started talking. It was way to long. Also i lost track of who was who in this story. I actually stopped listening a started another book, because i could not keep track.. The beginning is so amazing and i was dissapointed. We have magic, virus, darkness, Atomic boms, Isis, tombs...it was too much, too many directions.

The book had very little zombie encounters and an unrealistic few on interactions with strangers.
Everything about this story, is to convenient, with no struggles or friction between the caractor or the survival thereafter.
