exceptional cast.

so its as you expect. teen drama, a mc that cant handle girls. however the story is a parody. doesnt take itself seriously. dont go into this expecting serious. now while i did cringe at certain parts, the voice acting is incredible. i cannot stress enough how great the voice acting is. the only thing i was worried about is if the rest of the series would have the same actors. seen it too many times when a series starts off with good voice actors and then switches to a text to speech program. the author claims he wants to continue using these actors and thats all i need to commit to listening to this entire series. now i just have to wait for them to come out......

i usually read reviews when trying a new series. saw a few compare this to shield hero. its pretty different. i see where people aee similarities but being group summoned to a world shouldnt be a reason to call something a shield hero ripoff. tolkien created elves and yet when we see them in series people dont go its a lord of the ring ripoff. anyway that aside the dialogue is fun and the story is pretty good. would definately reccomend.

Was looking for a new listen and the idea of a podcast never occurred to me. Audible gave me the recommendation so here I am. Roughly half way through this podcast and I am enjoying it a lot. Tend to forget to review things but I felt this deserved one. The characters are fun, the cast is hilarious, and it’s made even better by the additional behind the scenes commentary that really brings the story to life. Can’t wait to listen to more. Really enjoying the content.

I was hesitant to buy this when I heard the narration was bad but I’m glad I went ahead and got it anyway. I suppose his voice might annoy some people but I found it perfectly fine and appropriate. Don’t miss out on a great listen.

being a collection of 4 books, I'll start with the first one. I liked it a lot. was silly fun and I really enjoyed this main characters humor and references. Past the first book it feels like a steady decline. Of course finding out about the main characters past helps some but it feels rushed. I'd have liked more character development instead of hack and slash or cloak and dagger. the author has a bad habit of ending books on cliff hangers and while I understand it's to sell the next book. it's extremely aggravating and a terrible device. if you write a good book you dont need cliff hangers. still I plan to read more in the series. overall it's worth the read.

so I'll admit I saw the book art and was interested. I read the reviews and it has a decent rating. so I gave it a shot. its hilarious and endearing. the reader really brings the story to life. all in all I loved this book and will be listening to it again. so glad there's a second book. hope it's good too.
