Cialdini organizes compliance techniques into six categories based on psychological principles that direct human behavior: reciprocation, consistency, social proof, liking, authority, and scarcity.

This was copied from a set of CDs. You could have at least removed ‘This is the end of this CD….’
Also, there was a brief repetition of the text at the start of the penultimate chapter.

Historia
Dereliction of Duty is a stunning analysis of how and why the United States became involved in an all-out and disastrous war in Southeast Asia. Fully and convincingly researched, based on transcripts and personal accounts of crucial meetings, confrontations, and decisions, it is the only book that fully re-creates what happened and why. McMaster pinpoints the policies and decisions that got the United States into the morass and reveals who made these decisions and the motives behind them, disproving the published theories of other historians and excuses of the participants.

Having lived through this time (but from afar), it has been enlightening to read a critical investigation of the history of this war. The one criticism I have is the narrator. General, let someone else read for you.

The saddest part of this for me (outside of the loss of so many children) was the response of Israeli youngsters to this tragedy. When asked about their online posts, they showed no remorse. It says a lot.

When Bob Quinn was a kid, a stranger at a county fair gave him a few kernels of an unusual grain. Little did he know, that grain would change his life. Years later, after finishing a PhD in plant biochemistry and returning to his family's farm in Montana, Bob started experimenting with organic wheat. In the beginning, his concern wasn't health or the environment; he just wanted to make a decent living and some chance encounters led him to organics.
