Fantastic AND it's performed in duet!

Samantha Brentmoor and Eric Nolan are absolutely perfect in their duet performance of Brynne Weaver's fantastic story. When we talk about why human narrators are irreplaceable, THIS is a perfect example of why. They performed the hell out of this and elevated what was already a great book to a whole new level of audiobook voice acting. I can't wait to hear what they all do next.

Christian Fox and Angelina Rocca are terrific

The story was good, though there was so much less spice than I had hoped based on how the story began. Overall, I definitely recommend taking a listen. Christian Fox as always is 🔥and Angelina Rocca is lovely. I wish it had been recorded in duet narration but they both did a terrific job of performing it in dual.

It was spicy and fun, though I liked the first book a little bit better. The duet narration by top-notch voice actors was fantastic. I look forward to reading more of this series!

I love this entire series. James Joseph and Stella Hunter in duet narration are fantastic.

I'm looking forward to the final (I don't want it end 😭) books. I had no idea what to expect when I got the first book when it came out and was leary of a dark seriss with teen characters in 🌶️🌶️🌶️ scenes but it's become one of my favorites. James Joseph does such a wonderful job with all of characters and Stella Hunter is perfect with all the the different accents and styles. They are amazing voice actors, and Tracy Lorraine wrote an amazing, weaving, entralling plot with hot, hot, HOT scenes. Read the TWs, because there's lot of 'em for some people. I'm currently re-listening the entire series out currently while chomping at the bit for the last books, and also because I needed to hear the voices of two of my comfort narrators.

Love this book!

Grab a box of tissues! I cried my eyes out listening to this. Lucas's story is so heart-wrenching and beautiful. Christian Fox is absolutely great in this role. He brought such depth and pathos to Lucas's character. Chelsea Hatfield (my first time hearing her work) also does a great job as Harper.

It took me a long time to get over this book. This book wrecked me in the best way. There isn't a ton of spice and it's a very slow burn, which is not my preferred choice, but it was right for this story.

Christian Fox is always a win

Overall, the story was engaging. Christian Fox is as fantastic as ever. I loved his portrayal of Adrian. I have to say that I almost didn't get the book because of the sample of Sienna's voice, but eventually, it warmed up for me.

It's a dark story, and the subject matter is intense, but I wish we'd seen more of Adrian's perspective and how he became the man he was (aside from the few glimpses of the past).

Disappointing despite the efforts of the all-star cast

I hate giving negative reviews because I know that all art is subjective. I wanted to like this series, but I just couldn't. I gave four stars for performance because of the all-star cast who did an admirable job given the material, and because the book is narrated in duet. But the story itself was disappointing and the dirty talk, which had so much possibility, was sadly pretty juvenile at times. There is very little character development or trauma resolution and the plot is threadbare. Some of the spicy scenes are decent (I will happily listen to Troy, Aiden, and Gideon say "good girl" on repeat), but the juvenile descriptions and wording were a bit cringe-inducing. However, the biggest issue I had was the birth control tampering and pregnancy without consent that all of the characters, including the FMC seem totally fine with, even though the FMC is a SA survivor. This is why I'm leaving a negative review. Before anyone asks: yes, I read the TWs. I had hoped this particular situation would been handled better. Unfortunately, it was not.

Eric Nolan was perfect for Kellan

it was a hard story to get through but it was good. I liked the slight mystical aspect. it was a nice change of pace. The subject matter was hard and I wish we'd had more time showing how Kellan and Darby worked to overcome their trauma. I would definitely recommend giving this book a listen, just be forewarned and read the triggers before proceeding.

Frustrated. Christian Fox only narrated the prologue and epilogue.

The story was a tough one but I enjoyed it. I just hate that it was listed as being co-narrated but Christian only does the prologue and epilogue. Lucy is great and I enjoy her narration which is why I still gave it 4 stars for performance.
