Follows the trajectory of the film
Revisado: 01-06-19
the book follows the Bohemian Rhapsody movie pretty closely, just with more details oh, and a better sense of the truth. Great performances by the actors. I just wish there was more meat to dig into.

Easy and enjoyable
Revisado: 07-16-18
Just as the title states, this work didn't delve into academia. Plenty smooth and simple for a regular Joe or Judy. I enjoyed it because Neil is easy to understand and presents science in a laid beck style.

Sal used to know his place with his adoptive gay father, their loving Mexican American family, and his best friend, Samantha. But it's senior year, and suddenly Sal is throwing punches, questioning everything, and realizing he no longer knows himself. If Sal's not who he thought he was, who is he? This humor-infused, warmly humane look at universal questions of belonging is a triumph.

Heartfelt and endearing, although a little simple

Another Saenz story that hits the heart and pulls the strings. I love the author's ability to develop characters that I find so similar to my own experiences. Excellent storytelling. A great read for a teen or adult.

Uplifting, well-written, and easy
Revisado: 07-16-17
This book made me feel like it was my old friend that I had known. It took me back 30 years to my childhood, allowing me to compare myself to the characters. When this book finished I wanted more. Excellent writing, and perfect performance.

Solid Story. One that just didn't grab me.
Revisado: 04-16-17
The story is good, more like mediocre, not bad, not great. Nothing about this book grabbed me, although I was curious enough to finish it.
