Surprisingly not against Trump

It was obviously direct accounts from certain people in the Whitehouse but there are sections that paint Trump in a decent light while obviously recounting bad decisions. Most interesting is that the Russian collusion investigation was crap. Obviously we know Trump is a narcissist, nothing new there

It takes 40% of the book to get going as a thriller, and then after the lead makes an unbelievable mistake completely out of character to further the plot I just gave up at that point.

wow amazing insight into the whitehouse

I am only half way through the book, but felt pressed to place a review. So far it is fascinating (and nothing to do with Trump yet). It starts with letting you understanding James' character and why he went into Law, he ascent to landing into the whitehouse. He holds nothing back, no sense of self grandeur. But the stories OMG they are so interesting you could make a movie and it would be better than a movie. Regardless of politics it is interesting and I already feel that the government is missing such an incredible person with a sense of right and the rule of law.
