Historia
Jon Ward's life is divided in half: two decades inside the evangelical Christian bubble and two decades outside of it. In Testimony, Ward tells the engaging story of his upbringing in, and eventual break from, an influential evangelical church in the 1980s and 1990s. Ward sheds light on the evangelical movement's troubling political and cultural dimensions, tracing the ways in which the Jesus People movement was seduced by materialism and other factors to become politically captive rather than prophetic.

Relatable and poignant
Revisado: 06-22-23
I listened to this book during every second of spare time I had over the last couple of days. It mirrored many of my own experiences growing up in Evangelicalism massively intertwined with GOP politics. As a pastors kid and former television journalist myself, I have wrestled with many of the same things Jon so eloquently speaks to in this book. Faith remains important to me, as it does to Jon, but looks very different than it looked to me as I was growing up within the church. Very grateful for authors who are able to knowledgeably speak to what so many have experienced, and help us all understand, how generations of Evangelicals were duped. It’s important to recognize how it occurred, so we can know how to prevent it in the future.

Amazing insights for businesses of all types and sizes.
As a small business owner who operates with this mindset and mentality- Andrew Griffiths so effectively communicates the benefits of being the most expensive and the course to get there.
I will be recommending this book to many small business owners as this book can be the roadmap for taking your business from zero to hero.
