This works only as a short story. Once the first part is over and the first revelation made, it is nothing more than an account of events, of a slow and boring suicide of humankind. This is not a story in the dramatic sense, but just and account, a list of events without dramatic tension until it stops. Its message is quite useless. Should not be a classic. It lacks the very mininum: it is not a "story".

Such a convenient story full pf conveniences and contriavances as to be fully unejoable. Maybe a little more effort from the author would have been advisable.

Le riduzioni cinematografiche in questo caso sono meglio dell'originale. Nel libro non c'è una vera storia dal punto di vista drammatico, ma più una serie di avvenimenti vagamente a tema. L'allungamento del naso è trattato in modo vago, senza una regola e senza logica. Idem la fatina. Difficile capire come possa essere diventato un classico.
Per quello che riguarda la lettura, la voce narrante è ottima, gli altri attori molto, troppo teatrali, e più di un svolta non rispettano le indicazioni del testo (ad esempio il testo dice sottovoce e l'attore urla).

Solo alcune parti belle

Troppo lungo con un personaggio principale insulso e inutile. Nessuna vera storia dal punto di vista drammatico, solo ritratti. Belle alcune parti durante la guerra e alcune parti di Useppe. interpretazione magnifica di Iaia Forte.

Pessimo Lettore

Pessimo lettore. Pannofino ha una bellissima voce di base, ma sbaglia completamente le intonazioni, non è capace di differenziare minimamente le voci dei vari personaggi e legge con un enfasi accessiva. La voce che dà a Dobby per esempio dove la Rowling scrive che è cosi alta da trapanare i muri, la rende con la gola stretta e bassa invece che nasale e fa sembrare il personaggio cattivo e duro, invece che ossequioso e buono. In altre parti, dove il testo dice "sottovoce" lui parla a voce alta, etc. Tutti i personaggi li fa con la stessa voce non sforzandosi minimamente di differenziarli, rendendo la lettura piattissima. La sua lettura distrae così tanto che ho deciso di restituire il libro. I produttori dovevano far ascoltare a Pannofino la lettura di Stephen Fry e dirgli di impegnarsi in modo adeguato. Questa è una pessima produzione che allontanerà tanti potenziali lettori italiani dagli audiolibri.

I expected a much smarter book and instead the author manages to be very old school French: racist, mysoginist, anthropocentric, pompous. The "science" is extremely bad and in many points plainly dumb. Only the idea remains which is very good and for a good reason has been adapted in several movies.

Not as good as the first one

The characters are so changed in this continuation and so cynical that I didn't like them as much as before. Plus the theme of royalty didn't resonate with me, but I'll keep in going with the rest of the series.
