Thank you
Revisado: 11-16-23
Thank you for sharing your story! It takes a lot to open up and share the bad along with the good.
As someone who supported Britney from the beginning, it was a relief to see she was finally able to tell her side of the story.
Michelle Williams did a phenomenal job narrating!
Highly recommended!

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

One of the best memoirs I’ve read
Revisado: 01-28-23
This has to be one of the best memoirs I’ve read in awhile. I am not a huge McCurdy fan, but after a few friends talking about how much they enjoyed it I decided to give it a listen.
At times I wanted to cry for little Jennette, and lecture adult Jennette to get her life together, and then hug her through recovery. A roller coaster of emotions kept me glued to this audio.
I like that the story was read by the author. It conveyed more of the reality of the situation.
Well done Jennette! I’m proud of your bravery to put your story out there and for your progress in recovery.

A twisted tale
Revisado: 02-21-22
I read this book at the recommendation of someone else. It was a page turner for sure. Everything I thought I knew about the main characters turned out to be completely wrong. Many twists and turns. The storyline was enjoyable.
My only criticism of sorts is that I would have liked to see a little more character development. It seems as if we gots part of their stories but not enough detail.
Overall highly enjoyable. Can’t wait to see what other books this author has to offer.

I listened to this with my 7 and 8 year old daughters, and we all enjoyed it!
Narrarated by Steve Burns of Blue's Clues fame, Forveveywhere follows Mote the Finalcorn on his journey to find bandmates and make rock music for everyone.
Full of humor and life lessons, this book brought us on a rollercoaster of emotions while rocking out to Foreverywhere's awesome tunes!

Great book for young girls
Revisado: 08-31-19
A great book for young girls, follows Emmie and how she deals with having a love letter written to a boy be shared with the entire grade. A story about learning to come out of your shell and experiencing life.
My daughter reads this novel over and over. It was nice to listen to the audio version together!

Great YA mystery novel
Revisado: 05-25-19
Very well performed! The story was written as if spoken from your normal middle school student trying to fit in at a new prep school. Finding and losing friendship, trying to solve a mystery and a twist ending kept this story interesting.
It took the reader through many thought processes, suspecting different people throughout, ultimately ending in a surprise villain.
Would recommend for an YA enthuisiasts.

Good story
Revisado: 05-10-19
A little slow in the beginning, this book took me awhile to get into. About halfway through the story started to pick up.
A story of resistance and romance based on a true story. Very inspirational.
But could've done without the author's commentary insinuating that the President's election was the sour of writing a novel of resistance. I read to get away from the politics.

Quick Modern Love Story
Revisado: 03-03-19
This was a great modern love story, orchestrated through a well meaning quirky grandmother. The characters all had great personalities and flowed nicely with each other. The storyline very well written, making it hard to stop listening.
Narrators were perfect, which can really make or break an audio book.

Historia
You probably won’t like my story. Heck, I’m not sure if I even like it myself. It’s 1154 AD, and my sister Jules and I are trapped in medieval France. Even worse, I’m about to be crowned king. It can’t be all bad, because I’ve met someone, my lady in red, and this part of my story is all about her. My name is Guillaume, but you can call me Gill, and despite what you hear, this story might be my sister’s fault.
