I pray to God he doesn’t get back into office.

Impatiently waiting for Volume 2!!!

I love audible books and listen to them all of time: walking dogs, cooking, cleaning, grooming dogs.... I just finished the first volume of A Promised Land by Barack Obama. Narrated by Obama, I pre-ordered the book and enjoyed every minute of the book. I actually cried listening to the first 10 minutes listening to Obama's calm, intelligent voice, I missed it so much over the past few years. It takes you from his childhood to the first few years of his first term in the White House. Intelligent, thoughtful and self reflective, it was wonderful to listen to the man who did so much for this country and inspired so many! History will look upon him and his accomplishments with admiration and respect!
If you're looking for your next great read (or listen!) Get this book!

I loved it!

loved it. The narration was fabulous and it was entertaining and informative.
Although it is a bit dated as it was written before the virus, I feel it was still noteworthy. I would loved to hear an update that covers COVID 19 and Trump's blundering it and his ridiculous, moronic blustering ('it will be gone by April.' And feeling so superior that he doesn't need to wear a mask to a mask factory!)

Great Book

Been watching Demi since General Hospital and most of her movies. I enjoyed the inside look at her life and thoughts, it gave me a whole new view of Demi and I found myself understanding her better than ever before. I had misjudged her over the years and found myself empathizing with her experiences and her life. Good read!

I just don't understand how people can support him

I awaited this book for a very long time and bought it the day it came out. I bailed with a few seconds left and neglected to Leave a review until now.
I feel with all of the books I have read since Trump took office, this is a great one. What puzzles me is the legion of supporters he still has, however, I also firmly believe in the premise of the movie Idiocracy. Americans are becoming more simple minded and stupid.
Trump's slack Jawed, gun toting fans are the ones who will continue to populate and flourish. God help us all.
