Historia
Countless reports from credible individuals suggest that something shocking may be stalking the woods of the southern United States—something massive, bipedal, and covered in hair. Tales of these Southern Sasquatch creatures—such as the one made famous by the 1972 horror movie The Legend of Boggy Creek—date back to the very origins of Deep South history and are reported even today.

Good Story, Bad Narrator
Revisado: 11-26-24
Lots of witness stories which were very interesting. However, the narrator reads way too fast and when he says his s’s, it’s annoying.

Historia
For video game fans, the name Blizzard Entertainment was once synonymous with perfection. The renowned company behind classics like Diablo and World of Warcraft was known to celebrate the joy of gaming over all else. What was once two UCLA students' simple mission—to make games they wanted to play—launched an empire with thousands of employees, millions of fans, and billions of dollars. But when Blizzard cancelled a buzzy project in 2013, it gave Bobby Kotick, the infamous CEO of corporate parent Activision, the excuse he needed to start cracking down on Blizzard's proud autonomy.

Bobby Kotick Has No Soul
Revisado: 10-11-24
The story of Blizzard is a story of dreams, hard work and passion of those who work on the projects, as well as the terrible mismanagement and greed that absolutely killed it. Blizzard should be looked at by all corporations are a cautionary tale. Want to see how NOT to do everything from run a company to treat employees? Listen to the story of Blizzard.
Bobby Kotick absolutely destroyed not only Activision, but ultimately Blizzard as well. When you put money/profits above all else, you’re destined to fail. His cancer on the industry will be felt for years after his departure, and even after this book, we’ll never know the true depths of his evil ways.

The tales of mysterious disappearances were good, the ghosts were meh. The narrator is not very good.

Nitro is a story about much more than WCW and the Monday Night Wars. It is a story of an era, a time in which the media and cultural landscape precipitated - and later supported - pro wrestling's mainstream popularity. It is a story of how a company made in the image of an intuitively brilliant risk-taker betrayed its original promise. It is a story of how a handful of men, each struggling with their own limitations, facilitated a public obsession that changed television forever.

Historia
Award-winning investigative journalist Ross Coulthart has been intrigued by UFOs since mysterious glowing lights were reported near New Zealand's Kaikoura mountains when he was a teenager. The 1978 sighting is just one of thousands since the 1940s, and yet research into UFOs is still seen as the realm of crackpots and conspiracy theorists.

A History of UFO/UAP’s to Modern Day
Revisado: 05-08-24
Very well written and researched. Very compelling evidence showing the US definitely knows more than they’re saying. The author/narrator does awful impressions while quoting people. Just stick to your nice Australian/New Zealand accent. Overall I highly recommend this book to anyone even remotely interested in the subject.

Interesting Haunts at the White House

Really interesting stories from people who have called The White House home or their work site. There’s so much history there, it’s no wonder people have claimed to have had experiences of some sort.

Terrible book, worse narration
Revisado: 09-09-23
Usually Moody is a can’t miss author, but not this time. I couldn’t even finish it. Between the narrator, who should only be allowed to read a blank sheet of paper, and the actual context of the book, this was a complete waste.

Great Narration, But Mediocre Book
Revisado: 09-08-23
If you’re into Sasquatch then this is an interesting read, but it’s not anything you haven’t seen or heard already. The author goes into other paranormal topics outside of Sasquatch, which I didn’t really care about. He also repeats some information and talks about tv shows, which seemed to just be filler to pad out his book.
