I love that the narrators speak each of their characters parts and it isn’t broken into just a POV. I love the story line and how well this story is delivered. There is frustration and some slow burn but this STORY and Roman & Emberly’s love is a story you don’t want to miss.

I really wish the narrators did each of the characters for their own parts instead of alternating, having Jennifer Mack speak for Peak during her POV and Andrew Eiden speak for Jordan’s part in his POV. Other than that I really enjoyed this pallet cleanser. It’s written well.

Talk about an emotional roller coaster. There is so much to unpack with this book, but JOE ARDEN!! Wow!! How he narrates is unlike anything, that voice captures you and with all the dynamics. Pure toxic obsession in the characters. Ohhh don’t get attached. HUGE TWIST. The heart ache from the author is felt, so deeply, and I can’t wait to see what else this amazing author will write.. more please Ariel!!

I really enjoyed this book, I do however wish the narrators would speak fully on their parts instead. Instead of character pov speaking for the other, makes it a bit choppy. With all that aside this was a great story of mafia, love, and the beast!!
