This book is absolutely profound. It outlines a way of being in harmony with nature and the natural flow of the universe. It teaches a life of sanctity and abundance and interconnectedness. I wish everyone would adopt these Indigenous ways. This is how we heal our relationship with each other and Earth.

Historia
A few weeks after the failure of her business in London, Sarah was asked a question in a book she was reading. “What does money want to say to you?” She started writing a response and found words coming out of her pen that weren’t her own. They started with, “I would like to tell you to love me.” She was deeply touched, and intrigued to explore more about the source of this message. She went on to write in the same way every day for three months and ended up with a collection of surprising, funny and inspiring advice, apparently from the energy of money itself.

Absolutely changed my life
Revisado: 02-18-25
This book was the one, after reading hundreds of others. Sarah’s teachings fundamentally changed my relationship with money forever, and I am grateful today that more money flows to me now that what I ever knew was possible before. I’m forever grateful for the blessings this book has brought to my family.

Historia
The midlife crisis is the butt of so many jokes, but this long-derided life stage has an upside. What if we could reframe our thinking about the natural transition of midlife not as a crisis, but as a chrysalis—a time when something profound awakens in us, as we shed our skin, spread our wings, and pollinate our wisdom? In Learning to Love Midlife, Chip Conley offers an alternative narrative to the way we commonly think of our 40s, 50s and 60s. Drawing on the latest social science research, inspiring stories, and timeless wisdom, he reveals 12 reasons why life gets better with age.

A true modern elder
Revisado: 02-07-24
This is a beautiful book, and such an important perspective. I love that Chip is bringing the wisdom of our ancestors into the modern world. Indigenous communities have always understood that our lives are largely a reflection of how well we navigate transitions and integrate the wisdom we can gain from them. I’m so grateful that Chip and MEA are spearheading this movement!

Revisado: 10-13-23
I really enjoyed this book. I appreciate all the tools they offer to support you in practicing their philosophy. I’m a big fan of Michael Gerber, and apparently the authors are too. There is a lot of congruence in their works. I highly recommend this book for any high level entrepreneur, especially for business partners and co-founders.

Letting Go describes a simple and effective means by which to let go of the obstacles to enlightenment and become free of negativity. During the many decades of the author's clinical psychiatric practice, the primary aim was to seek the most effective ways to relieve human suffering in all of its many forms. The inner mechanism of surrender was found to be of great practical benefit and is described in this book.

Most important teaching for modern society
Revisado: 07-20-23
I just finished reading (studying) this book for the 19th time in about a four year period. I have recommended this book more than any other in my life. Modern society is programmed for attachment. Learning the art of letting go is the miracle most of society is in need of. It feels like Hawkins channeled this one from the Divine. This is an absolute necessity on the path to personal peace and freedom. It’s transformed my life.

As one of the music world’s most iconic artists and the cofounder of the organizations ONE and (RED), Bono’s career has been written about extensively. But in Surrender, it’s Bono who picks up the pen, writing for the first time about his remarkable life and those he has shared it with. In his unique voice, Bono takes us from his early days growing up in Dublin, including the sudden loss of his mother when he was fourteen, to U2’s unlikely journey to become one of the world’s most influential rock bands, to his more than twenty years of activism.

I’ve been inspired by Bono since I was 8 years old, when Live Aid happened. I spent ten years living in East Africa, consequently. This book is the single most enjoyable book I e ever… listened to. The audio and songs are amazing! I did t want it to end. I’m so grateful for Bono and U2’s influence in my life and I. The world.

Most of the world remembers Crazy Horse as a peerless warrior who brought the U.S. Army to its knees at the Battle of Little Bighorn. But to his fellow Lakota Indians, he was a dutiful son and humble fighting man who, with valor, spirit, respect, and unparalleled leadership, fought for his people's land, livelihood, and honor. In this fascinating biography, Joseph Marshall, himself a Lakota Indian, creates a vibrant portrait of the man, his times, and his legacy.
