Historia
Once upon a time, in the magical land of San Francisco, there lived a not-so-ordinary girl named Laurel Pettigrew. She was supposed to be the Chosen One. The plan was simple: She would vanquish the great evil Tybus in an epic battle. But destiny had other ideas, and Laurel's performance in the whole heroics department was a colossal flop. Now, instead of being a legendary hero, Laurel's the resident pariah of the magic realm. And what’s worse, the dark wizard Tybus swooped in, took over the realm, and forced all supernatural creatures to live under his tyrannical rule.

So Much Fun!!
Revisado: 10-08-23
This audio book, rather this radio play, is so good! It’s full of actors I love and narrated by the incomparable Neil Gaiman. Felicia Day has created a fantastic world full of fun characters for us to soak our ears in!!

Historia
Alex-Li Tandem sells autographs. A small blip in a huge worldwide network of desire, his business is to hunt for names on paper, collect them, sell them, and occasionally fake them - all to give the people what they want: a little piece of Fame. But what does Alex want? Only the return of his father, the reinstatement of some kind of all-powerful, benevolent God-type figure, the end of religion, something for his headache, three different girls, infinite grace, and the rare autograph of '40s movie actress Kitty Alexander. With fries.

Fantastic Narration!
Revisado: 07-26-21
I found this protagonist pretty unlikable. That being said the book told us on an interesting journey that compelled me to find out what happens next. Perhaps some of the traits that make the main character so frustrating are things we generally don’t like about a ourselves. There are a lot of interesting ideas that are explored during the course of the book.
The narration was fantastic! You could tell a lot of work went in to creating distinct voices for each character. Voices that were distinct but not cartoonish or caricatures. I would love to listen to more books narrated by him.
