Good history and analysis

I originally selected this audiobook with unconscious expectation of hearing a full throated rebuke of president trump. If that’s what you are looking for you may be somewhat disappointed. While she describes in detail Trumps fascist tendencies she does so with the utmost intellectual honesty and fairness. It is good history and nothing more.

The 20 or so years that Brezhnev was in power accounts for about 27% of soviet history and almost half the Cold War but he scarcely got 15 minutes of the total lecture! If you blinked you would have missed him!
