I tried
Revisado: 10-20-24
I really tried to get through this book; the author often retreated into “cutesy” and self-amused voice inflections; also, I found the incessant references to alcohol annoying. Maybe reading the actual book would be a better option for me.

Incredible
Revisado: 01-23-22
This book really made me stop and think, not only about what I think about my own face, but my attitude towards others, and most specifically, about my daughter. My daughter is very beautiful but not in society’s conventional standard, and I am acutely aware of the things that not only I say about myself, but what others say about everyone. It breaks my heart that she or any of her friends, or any other woman in this world, would feel forced and obligated to conform to the visual values of a society that places so much on physical appearance. Justine, thank you so much for rising above, and stepping on top of, the criticism so self-righteously spewed in your direction. This is a really important book.
