Best in the series
Revisado: 03-21-25
Brilliant writing and narration. Be prepared for an emotional roller coaster at the end. Don’t listen to the last quarter of it in public, because you will struggle not to ugly cry.

Came for the story, stayed for the writing

The prose were beautiful, and the narration was great. The story was interesting, but I thought the ending was a little bit flimsy.

Nikolai Lantsov has always had a gift for the impossible. No one knows what he endured in his country’s bloody civil war - and he intends to keep it that way. Now, as enemies gather at his weakened borders, the young king must find a way to refill Ravka’s coffers, forge new alliances, and stop a rising threat to the once-great Grisha Army. Amazing addition to this literary universe
Revisado: 02-01-19
I am actually upset that I started listening to this the day it was released, because the wait until the next book will be excruciating. Amazing narrator, well-crafted story, and enough exposition for someone who read all of the Shadow and Bone trilogy, but skipped the Six of Crows dualogy.
