I love Mercy Thompson! I'm her biggest fan, but I felt this one was a little off. It felt too complicated. Too many names yet not enough time was spent on certain characters to remember their purpose in the story. I felt the some of the "Interludes" were unnecessary and others I was upset that they were included at all.
SPOILERS!!! SPOILERS!!! RANTING!!!

I'm tired of Mercy complaining about her friends. The ones that are always there for her. The way she was so sure it was Stephan in the last book pissed me off. She complains and worries about a character that has only ever done good for her. It was also her choice for that connection, which she normally doesn't complain about neccessary choices. she doesn't seem to know who are her friends anymore and it bothers me.
It feels to me like Adam is taking it in the teeth alot lately. Like attacking his alpha prowess and masculinity. I like Adam strong. He doesn't seem like he gets to do anything anymore.
I love Mercy Thompson and Patricia Briggs but I won't be able to listen or read anymore if politics and woke topics end up in her books. I have loved this series! I love Warren and how she shows their relationship without being to much. I love how Mercy is a woman that doesn't scream feminist. She is smart, capable, courageous and humble. I love this series because it has all the values I care about in a person and it's heroes.
Garry's character has changed for me and that sucks. And I spent the first part of the book ranting in the car on the way back from North Dakota. Sorry this was long.

It has everything I look for! It has dragons, hot alphas, slow burn for some and heat for others, and an older guy! i always love possessive males and smart FMCs! I really love this narrators!

I'm usually into urban fiction with wolves and vampires, so this was a whole different direction. I'm glad I tried it!! I love slow burn romance! I especially loved the MMC! Their love story felt so real.

HOLY WOW!!

I just finished the whole Theft of swords series!!! it was so amazingly written!! it was akin to lord of the rings and game of thrones!! I had found nothing similar to Lord of the rings until now!! such history, great characters and lore!! I say game of thrones because nothing was what it seemed. I was on my toes the whole time, I couldn't predict shit!! I just finished it and I am bereft!! I should probably see if I still have a family!
the dramatization was amazing!! I had never experienced it before, im sure it ruined me for other books. it had better acting than so many movies!! it was a truly amazing experience!! I just dont know what I'm gonna do now

Awesome story awesome narrator!!

If Sherlock and Steven Seagal had a kid, it would be the main character. I happen to love badass main characters! some people comment to his naivete with personal relationships, but I totally get it. he was raised isolated with only trainers, no love. we are products to our environment. Anyway, I found it to be very amusing and lovable. It had action that was so well described that I could see it. The narrator made each character unique, and i thought he did an excellent job! I have seen this title in my recommended section for a year. I'm so glad I got it!! It ended 2 minutes ago and I already bought the next!

love the series! Hate this main character!

I love this series! I love the strong men with their equally strong women, but this last main character has me unable to finish it. She is a winey little bitch! And I think that she should have been killed off by the Valkyrie just for giving them a bad name. I have tried and can't make it through. I have loved every other main female character with all their differences, but I cant stomach this one. Its a shame because I want to hear about Cade. And for her to be of such importance, upsets me. The narrator is the best narrator ever, and I mean ever!!!!!

Great main character, great narrator!!

I love the main character!! She was so funny and courageous! Its a HEA with is what I was looking for, but her character was so entertaining I wish other longer books had characters this good! I will say that others commented on the word "however" being used alot, and it is. but its not a big deal because the character makes up for it. The narrator was excellent!! She brought the character to life, you could easily feel her sarcasm and humor and even her nervousness which often you only feel in the words not the narrator that much!! She was great!!

I was skeptical at first, but I really liked this take on an alien abduction experience! I loved Theo and really liked Jade as well. I hate female characters who either let shit happen to them without a fight or they go the opposite direction and become total stubborn bitches. Jade was the right amount of everything. I'm really glad I used the credit!!

It reminded me alot of Outlander! My favorite parts were how the knights reacted to Bethany's future things! I had it in my wishlist for a few years until I finally tried it!! I loved it!!

First of all, the narrator was amazing!!!! Great voice and done with real emotion!!!
The story has a hot alpha male to drool over plus an engaging main character!! I always worry I will hate the chicks in these stories because they are either whiny bitches or mean femi-nazi's trying to prove them selves. so I love it when the main character is smart, reflective, strong and funny! It was a good listen!!
