Historia
After watching my mother succumb to a mysterious illness, I promised myself two things. I'd find the cure for what ravaged her and leave the godforsaken city where she abandoned me. Four years later, I received an acceptance letter from Dracadia University, one of the oldest most prestigious schools in the country. Nestled on a secluded island off the coast of Maine, it's rumored to be haunted by the souls of the mental patients exiled there centuries before, those whose bones are said to make up the island's white sandy shores. And restless ghosts aren't even its most daunting peculiarity.

Not for me
Revisado: 10-20-24
I really did not like how painfully slow the beginning of this book is. I just about DNF’d at the halfway mark because I was so bored. The book could easily be 400 pages and have all the content needed/wanted.

Great story, but a long journey to the end.
Revisado: 03-08-24
I loved this story, but it is extremely long and very descriptive. Sometimes too descriptive that you find yourself getting distracted because there is too much to picture. I still found it extremely worth the read and would recommend this book to friends.

Cute and Fun to Listen to
Revisado: 02-27-24
The characters were fleshed out and very likable. The banter is very cute as well and I found myself smiling often as I listened. Adorable story and good character growth.

Historia
Tom Felton’s adolescence was anything but ordinary. His early rise to fame in beloved films like The Borrowers catapulted him into the limelight, but nothing could prepare him for what was to come after he landed the iconic role of the Draco Malfoy, the bleached blonde villain of the Harry Potter movies. For the next ten years, he was at the center of a huge pop culture phenomenon and yet, in between filming, he would go back to being a normal teenager trying to fit into a normal school. Speaking with great candor and his signature humor, Tom shares his experience.

Revisado: 09-17-23
I typically do not listen to non fiction audio books, but I do have to say I really enjoyed this book. It’s nice to hear the story of Tom’s life before, during, and after the Potter films. I adore the respect he has for all his colleagues and how he tells an unfiltered tale of his life.

Amazing Story, Terrible Narration
Revisado: 01-18-23
I highly recommend reading the book instead of listening to this audiobook. Having read the book before, I can tell you that name and other pronunciations are inaccurate and are lazy. The book and whole series is phenomenal, but the narrator is horrible. Very lifeless characters, terrible pronunciation, and an overall lackluster performance.

Historia
Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. The Fault in Our Stars is insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw. It brilliantly explores the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

Beautiful and Devastating
Revisado: 10-01-20
Honestly I didn't care for the narrator, but this book is so good that it deserves full stars across the board. If you have a heart, expect to do a lot of crying. John Green is amazing at making characters so real that you can't help but love them and cry with them.
