I only try on one of Nina’s pristine white dresses once. Just to see what it’s like. But she soon finds out...and by the time I realize my attic bedroom door only locks from the outside, it’s far too late. But I reassure myself: The Winchesters don’t know who I really am. They don’t know what I’m capable of....

THIS needs to become a film! This is the first book I've read/listened to by this author and it blew me away! I literally listened all in one day. The tension was awesome and the ending, omg! I'm definitely getting the rest! You won't be disappointed if you give it a listen!

Warning: S×x scenes featuring adults with described as having emotional & mental lvl of a child!
Revisado: 08-23-24
I warn readers that near the end is the sex scene that features the adult males. the males in question have been described many times and are practically portrayed as literally children in adult bodies. i mean the wolves in the man body. So when you have a scene and a speaker using child like speech for sex, that's a No. I don't need to have a book practically spell out near pedophilia with characters who are adult but mentally and emotionally described as toddlers and their speech is that of a toddler and they sit and joke about sex and are literally and I mean literally in the book, coached in HOW to have sex, which is Too Close to child grooming, even though the men are supposed to be adults. if you read/listen then you'll know what I mean. I felt the author didn't need to make the Men's wolves for some practically children that never grew up when the human clearly did. No sane person wants to read about a person who may as well be 5 years old being coached where to put the penis. I'll not be reading further sorry. Story had potential, just keep it adult ffs!

Historia
You’d think that unicorn shifters would be chicks, right? Yeah, me, too, but turns out unicorns are always males. Until me, that is. I’ve never shown a drop of magic in my life, even though I’m from a family of powerful witches. Well, my parents had the grand idea of performing an awakening ceremony courtesy of Fortune Academy’s best and brightest…and I think it worked a bit too well. Imagine their surprise when I sprouted a horn. A freaking horn. Not. Cool.

Book? More like 2 chapters...
Revisado: 06-08-23
OK, so I enjoyed the story or rather what story exists, but it's literally about 2 chapters worth, no where near an actual book as advertised. almost as if the author got 2 chapters in and was like "ok let's call it a day" and left everything mid chapter.. lol the peek at book two is literally the next scene lol. good story, but how about writing an actual full book and not advertising 2 chapters as a complete book and literally splitting scenes as supposed chapters. Author needs a class in book set up, but don't give up, this story does have potential. Currently not worth paying for, though.

Historia
In the Virginia countryside outside of Washington, DC, Addy Wentworth was on a mission to make a new life for herself. When the opportunity arose, she settled in horse and wine country. Experiencing more than her fair share of tragedy and loss, she had plans for her future, one where failure wasn’t an option. And not just because people and cows were counting on her. She’d poured everything she had into her struggling vineyard, because once she’s in, she’s all in.

Not for me.
Revisado: 05-01-23
Literally, more than 5 chapters in and NOTHING has happened other than lack luster interaction between Male and Female character other than arguments over a fence multiple times and a cow multiple times, and wine tasting...that's it. I'm done. Seems to struggle to build upon an interesting opening that will keep a reader invested and instead continues to repeat the most boring of situations that don't really provide interesting interaction or dialog. It was a struggle to make it even to chapter 5. Narrators were good though. 👎

Pleasantly Surprised
Revisado: 04-28-23
I was pleasantly surprised by the story as I ended up liking it more than I thought I would as I bought it as filler to listen to while working. I will admit I did have a sneaky suspicion about the state of the main character and was glad to be proven right as the small hints dropped throughout continued to build my theory. I won't spoil the story, but I would recommend it. The story has both light and dark moments as well as steamy. However, I will say the ending was both sad, satisfying, and yet heartbreaking, so prepare for an emotional roller-coaster of what I'd call a nearly HEA. Well done to the narrators and author for a story well crafted and performed.

Great narrator, but I still miss Tavia Gilbert playing Bones lol. Excellent retelling of events. I enjoyed returning to this world and getting to view some of these events from the other side. Will always recommend a Frost novel, and I'll continue to return and visit these beloved characters. Thank you Jeaniene Frost for sharing your amazing talent with all of us peasants. lol we love you!

Revisado: 04-14-23
Overall, the series is OK. To be honest, it feels more like a rough draft of a story/series. The MC is very sheltered and naive due to being raised in a swamp. Then the men are hard to distinguish as they all seem like the same character with different names, very slim differences in personality. Picture apes constantly beating their chests and snarling over one girl with nothing but air in her head and the willingness to spread her legs. It's literally the whole series. At times decisions made by the MC or the Alpha literally make no sense, in the first book as if the writing couldn't be naturally curved or created in the direction the story needed to progress so it seems like the writer just forced random action to make a character do something. Book 3 is nothing but an ongoing orgy. Chapter 19, it's as if the editor didn't bother to look at it as the typo of a character that died in the last book, her name keeps being used instead of the actual character the MC is with, which is annoying and an amateur editor mistake that pulls the reader out of the story, or rather break from another orgy. I'm all about stories that are RH with interesting dynamics and personalities, but this series fell widely short. I'd recommend instead you read Raven Kennedy's Heart Hassle Cupid series over this. At least the characters have personalities and a story arc that is interesting and serves as more than just filler from constant sex. I only finished the series because it was something that could drone on in the background while I work from home. No brain cells needed to focus on the story, as there was little dynamic.

JUST WOW!
Revisado: 01-23-23
I was hesitant to read this book because I loved how book 4 ended. I was blown away and am glad I took the chance! It's been a long time since a story brought out so many emotions, happy and sad. This story is a tear jerker for sure. Spoiler sort of: some comments about abuse are negative towards the book, know that it's implied, and there are not sex abuse scenes! Some may feel this story takes some of the mysticism away. However, there is still a ton of mystery and mind boggling unknowns. I feel the ending left room for guessing and was overall satisfying if not melancholy because as always readers want to follow beloved characters forever. I feel tore up over this series lol, and hope we readers can return and discover more God's and ancestors and adventures related to these amazing characters. Thanks for writing such an amazing series that I'll return to for years to come.
