Historia
Carter Ash wakes up with no memories in a virtual basic training. All the recruits will die within the next six weeks. Lucky for them, they’ve all got three lives. He’s assigned to a squad with his goofy friend and another captivating cadet, Iris. They have to keep each other alive as long as possible because when they die, they get assigned their permanent character class. And everyone in the squad wants a valuable class, ideally the kind where you don’t get killed immediately.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Engrossing. I don't want to get out of my car.
Revisado: 08-31-16
What did you love best about Bullet Riddled?
The story grabs you from the first paragraph and you simply don't want to stop listening. This is gritty and honest. We all know the police are faced with tough decisions, it's good to hear it straight and (mostly) unfiltered.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Bullet Riddled?
When he describes the encounter with the gunman at the Albertson's. I happened to live about a mile from this store when this occurred. I never knew the entire story and was amazed to hear the story from the police officer's point of view.
Have you listened to any of J. Scott Bennett’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not heart J. Scott Benett's performances. Honestly it was hard to imagine he wasn't the actual author, so believable.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yes!
Any additional comments?
yes. respect our police officers. they more than deserve it.

Parallel stories in an intriguing setting
Revisado: 03-27-16
Any additional comments?
This is not your average tale and is wonderfully crafted by the author. There is really something for everyone. The story starts with a horrible tragedy and then jumps back to another time. For me, the joy was in watching the story slowly knit together as people, whose lives are broken by events somehow find ... (sorry, unwilling to spoil it, best you just go read it for yourself now)
