Historia
Julie fully expected to be breathing at the end of the trip - but driving into Death Valley felt like giving up, surrendering. She'd spent years battling a mysterious illness so extreme that she often couldn't turn over in her bed. The top specialists in the world were powerless to help, and research on her disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, was at a near standstill. Having exhausted the plausible ideas, Julie turned to an implausible one. Going against both her instincts and her training, she followed the advice of strangers she'd met on the Internet.

Listening to this beautifully written book regarding toxic-mold/bacteria/chemicals etc, has helped me feel not crazy for experiencing what most of my family and friends don't understand, or say I get it, get back to work and you'll feel better, to only find out the business I owned and sold to move to Arkansas for my wife and family since my wife got a job that was a big jump for her career and back then I was an entrepreneur, I made things happen. I bought a trailer to put all my equipment for work in and made a truck/trailer work shop. I invested in myself to only move and be stuck home in the home that triggered my symptoms. This house was moldy, and yes it was toxic. remediation made it worse. this caused the majority of my gear and trailer, truck and pretty much everything I owned and my family owned to be thrown away due to advice and what was told to us to do to reduce re-contaminated our new place unless I cleaned it but found that hard being so sick and cleaning not knowing if this would be a problem later, or had $$ to get it remediated, but I had little faith in that process. we might of gone over board but thought if we can leave everything and start over it would not contaminated the new home, but that takes the hole family to be on board. It didn't work, as a matter of fact the hotel we stayed in when we got out of the house told me they had to remediate the rooms we stayed in due to mold. when she said that as we were there for weeks and got to know the staff, it blew me away to hear her say that with a sense of anger, what the Hell did you do. we stayed in over 5 rooms. That's when I started read and learn about this process for myself. crazy
thank you for this beautiful book, I'm on chapter 16 now. look forward to listening to you and pray you're doing much better.

Historia
Millions of people are suffering from chronic illnesses that, unbeknownst to them, are the result of exposure to environmental toxins and infectious agents such as mold and Borrelia, which causes Lyme disease. Millions. Because the symptoms of these illnesses are so varied and unusual, many of these individuals have sought medical care only to be dismissed, as if what they are experiencing is “in their head”. Many (if not most) have tried to tough it out and continue to function without hope of improvement. Unfortunately, their illnesses are very real.

This book has Changed my Life
Revisado: 11-25-22
Thank you Neil Nathan, for opening up my mind to alternative reasons to my Health. Growing up, I remember our basement flooding, and then movimg down there when 17 with the gas furnace and as water heater down there, with windows we sealed shut in hopes to keep it warmer in the winter. I lived down there for 5 years, and remember walking down the stairs and feeling different, almost like my mood would change but always thought it was the smell that made me feel different. i just shrugged it off. As life went one, id get symptoms that made no sense. Then when i moved to Arkansas at age 38 with my wife, 6 month old baby girl and 2 year son in April 2020, i became strangely sick with skin lessons appearing in circles, and frequently with skin pricks, getting bloody noses a lot. Not to mention, a week of being in the house we noticed Ticks everywhere and they were fat, the pest control guy said ive never seen so many ticks in a home and even couldn't figure out which type of tick it was as lonestar ticks were commonly found around here, but they weren’t Lonestar ticks. Drs didn't listen and said its in my head. Was told by an inspector about a Dr that helped people like me and used Neils and Shoemakers approach to healing. I believe i9 this book and see this approach to fixing our Healthcare system and reth inking the wany we build homes.
Thank you Neil Nathan, as im working with one of your certified drs, and thanks to listening to chapter 15 again, im again at ease. It does feel very overwhelming, and $$$ which we dont have after losing the house and most possession like our vehicles my business gear due to the mold/bacteria's toxins and the stuff they used to fog our home and possessions with as that stuff was highly toxic, WOW. This has made me change careers to becoming a BPI and eventually a BBB, along with every cert i can get and learn from to help others not go through what our family went threw.
