Loved it. Listened in one sitting bc I couldn't push stop to go to bed. But, I'm a noc nurse, so that's pretty normal to stay up well past 3am anyway. Smiles almost the whole way through. Except when crying, because I've either been there or know my time for it is coming. You hit on every point. Why I became a nurse. Why I'm proud to be a nurse. All my non nurse friends and family members who give "that look" where in the middle of your story you realize you just ruined one of the 3 meals you get to eat with them that month, so you stop talking (and it sucks bc you haven't even gotten to the gross/funny part yet). All of it.

I am finding this book during week 3 of the quarantine and I am the only family member who has left my house in almost a month. I was starting to feel guilty that I "get" to leave the house. But I really appreciate that you are reminding me of the gratitude I feel that I GET to be a nurse, period. Thank you for writing this book and sharing your feelings. You are not alone.

Class of '97. Sharing it with my teenager. Applicable then and now. Spot on. Bravo!

Language, music, emotional turmoil, and the scene of the times. It's all so accurate. I teared up at the end. I cannot recommend this book enough.
