Very powerful book. One of Kyla Stone's best.

Love Kyla Stone's books especially the post apocalyptic ones. Decided to give this a try and couldn't stop listening. Very deep and powerful. Very true and thought provoking. The Narrator did an EXCELLENT job. Her narration made me feel like I was experiencing this story and had me in tears so many times. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep up the good work, Kyla. We need more books like this.

The Narrator is Awful!

I have to say I enjoyed the story. I think the writer did a good job capturing the readers. However, the Narrator needs to be fired from narrating! The only reason I stuck around was because the story was captivating. The Narrator does a terrible job at the regular female voice so you can imagine how terrible she was with the males. It's worth a read though if you handle the torture on your ears for the story and the writers sake.

I was skeptical at first since I hate spiders and don't like horror stories but these books surprised me. The author did a phenomenon job and the narrator was fantastic.

Loved everything about this series!

I really enjoyed everything about this book. The story was amazing and kept you guessing. The narrator did a magnificent job. The author is one of the best I've come across lately. Please continue the series. We would love to know what happens to Kal and the remaining OPUS family. Keep up the good work!

The best one of the series!

After listening to the first three books, I was hesitant to buy this one but I'm glad I did. Even though it took we a while to like Emory, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I would love have more books in this series with the kids. Atos's story, Madden and Octavia... great job, Penelope Douglas.

Love, love this book. I was initially very hesitant as I thought it would be sad. Damon and Winter's story surprised me though and I'm glad I decided to follow through.

Lots of mixed feelings on this one

I can safely that the female narrator didn't do justice to the writer. I hated how the heroin was pushed but the female narrator voice made it worse. when Rika was scared and cried "stop" or "no", there was no change in the narrator's tone. so for readers like me that didn't like the heroin pushed around and decided to wait it, it was just disappointing. The writer made this Rika look too waek and stupid. There were times I was just 😱 in my head when I clearly new what was happening but Rika was clueless 😐.
